Mama is mint and SHOULD NOT be sold because he will create problems for those pampered Premiership defenders. Important to the way that we play is Mama and same as i say Mama is mint.
Go fuck e'm hard Mama fuck e'm really hard.

The Mama Sidibe debate is really a non starter
This is a likeable guy who nearly lost his life playing a game of football, came back and worked his sack off for a club that has stuck by him through goal droughts. Sorry should I say manager who has stuck by him
In fairness, when Shola arrived, mama was the obvious candidate for the bench, but what did he do? - scored twice in one game, and virtually put one of our main rivals out of contention
However, as Brave Sir Robin points out, he lacks class, he lacks finishing, and in the whole new ball game of a Premiership season IMO I dont think he is good enough.
Please dont sell him off, he deserves a chance, but I think a place on the bench is the best that awaits Mama much as I like his 120 per cent attitude. PS _ I really would like to see him prove me wrong and score 10-12 goals this season

Lets face it, at the moment we have 3 maybe 4 players who can probably cut it in the Prem. I'll leave it to your imagination which ones they are and which ones they are not. We shall see what we shall see soon enough.

H I agree with what you are saying however, the majority of premiership teams pass the ball, we won't it will all be about getting the ball in the box as quickly as possible, i personally can't see there being that many changes in our style or approach from this season

I tend to stay out of these endless Sidibe debates nowadays, no player polarises the fans more and the argument is unending. There's not much point stating your case over and over again. However,
I think he's worth a place in the squad, but there's got to be somebody who can do his job and score goals, hasn't there? Whether you like the way we play or not, it won't change whether Sidibe is there or not and he is absolutely integral to it. That's why Windass, as previously claimed, wouldn't have got us promoted earlier in the season. We'd have had nobody who'd do the link up play etc that Sidibe does. Look at the Coventry game as an example. We were a shambles in the first half, but we picked up bit by bit after the subsitutions. Shawcross came on for Griffin - the first important component was in place and we suddenly looked assured at the back. Sidibe came on for Ameobi and we were suddenly able to attack and we won a penalty - the second vital component was in place. Lawrence came on and scored the winning goal - the final vital component. Last season was based around 4 players and we weren't right without all of them. Shawcross held us together at the back, Lawrence was our creative force in midfield and the provider of the set pieces from which we scored a huge proportion of our goals, Fuller was the creative force up front who was, quite simply, the best player in that division and Sidibe was the one who held it all together and made sure we had the ball so that the previous to players could work their magic. But that's just my opinion, each to their own. I'm sure Mr Pulis will decide on what's best.

No neither can I. It should be interesting to see how our tactics fair against the big boys. Personally I think it's more important to concentrate on taking points off the likes of Hull, Brazil , Fulham et al instead of hoping for miracles against the top 10 teams.

H agree, but it is important to play our game, stick to what we know, its fair to say that no-one in the premier league (even Bolton) play our way is it'll be interesting to see how they cope with our approach

Well if it makes you feel any happier, apparently it's impossible for cultured teams like Southampton and Brazil to get results against our horrible tactics, so perhaps cultured teams like ManUre and Arsenal will find themselves in a Southampton style struggle against us ;D Heaven forbid that the truth might be Southampton are crap...

I think TP will have to mix it up a bit. If we play like we did last year we will get thumped, the Prem managers will do their homework and it's not hard to see how we play. Newcastle worked us out for the 2nd leg of the cup and they were playing shite. But like I've said. We shall see what we shall see. It also depends who we bring in aswell.

well as we've seen before when parkin is played in the mama role it isnt as effective because the only player who is effective at doing mamas role is mama. drifting on to another subject i feel if parkin was played in the fuller role where he just has to finsih the move off i feel he'd be scoring more goals look at when he was on loan and the charlton goal if a move needs finishing parkin generally does it but when hes made to do the mama role hes shit

I'm pretty sure we aren't going to dramaticaly change our style of play but we should mix it up a bit more.
I should think the 4 key players Pulis is looking for is straight through the middle: keeper, Centre Half, Centre Mid and Striker(maybe 2). You can better your bottom dollar that these will all be big, strong and fast. I can see Tone trying to keep it tight and attack with a battering ram mentality rather than free flowing passing football and IMHO this is the best route for us. Its a bit of a gamble and some teams may pass us off the park but it may just take enough points off the less physical teams to keep it up. When you look at the players at some of the lower prem teams we wouldn't be able to compete with even them at their own game.
