Sounds just like Rowett here. Don’t agree, I like that interview. I think he’s spot on. He’s got six more games for me before decision time. That interview has raised my opinion of him.

True mate but he has to drop Jack he's killing the team. I would have ripped him off before half-time stuff the fuss if an outfield player had done that he's be off asap. His players are letting him down without doubt we played some good stuff and looked promising it's not his fault Jack has gifted 5 goals away. I'd like to know what's happened to Jack. This is a man who was in the England team and some premier league teams had their eye on. Probably couldn't give him away now. What's his problem? Is it him, the defence? Look at the positives, Birmingham will get fuck all!

On the Sentinel article. “Since I’ve come here there’s been a hangover of players wanting to leave, players thinking they are proper players, players wanting to go and play in Europe, players thinking of their international careers. There hasn’t been a group here together who wants to play and focus and win games for Stoke City, that’s a problem.” Coming out with that isn't going to help him is it? Saying stuff like that can only be detrimental. Don’t think so. I’d say the same thing, if my staff/team were performing like idiots they’d get it

No matter the tactics, what food we eat, what bus we travel on, it doesn’t make any difference. Players have to do their jobs. We weren’t good in one box and were terrible in the other.”
Whilst I understand the calls for change, the facts are individual mistakes from experienced professionals are the issue as he says above
We are creating the most chances and conceding the fewest that is good coaching.
He needs patience ......
....and yes I am concerned

Hes made it worse for himself by saying he wanted young hungry athletic players and instead signed Vokes,Bath, ward etc
There can't be many managers that would have a worse win rate than this. He picks the team and takes now his team, this is his problem now.
Where is the first win coming from?
We were gifted 2 fixtures at the start of the season to get points on the board and blew it. If he thinks hes under pressure now wait until after brum. Didn't brum see Rowett off too?

Pretty much everyone wants Jones to succeed, however it's becoming all to clear that he is out of his depth.
If talking a good game was the key skill for managing a team then there are plenty on here who'd give Pep a run for his money: sadly there is more to it than that.
Jones needs to go back to basics. The diamond has been a disaster. We aren't winning because we are playing poorly. The club would be totally justified if they terminated the manager's contract if we fail to gain points in the next two games.

He got given the time at Luton..... Playing against poorer players and weaker managers. This is a big boys division and you can’t spend ages honing a new system. You can, just not at this club.

Has he dared to give an interview. That was totally indefensible.. Build a defence and then develop a team. The fan base would be going ballistic if he set up to defend.

He got given the time at Luton..... He said that the players took 6 months to click at Luton. He has had 6 months at Stoke but no 'clicking' is in sight. If we give him more time we will lose out on the opportunity to get Hughton and risk relegation We've played well in the last 3 games before tonight. Results haven't come but there's clear signs. Tonight has been the result many have been hoping for.

Has he thrown Jack under the bus though? He's tried to blame his fuck ups on everything else but Jack surely? Leeds twice and Brum next? We're fucked. Jack has thrown him under he bus in 3 out of 4 games this season.

I’d say the same thing, if my staff/team were performing like idiots they’d get it I mean, saying it publicly might not have been the best move. That aside, if they are thinking of bigger things instead of playing to the best of their ability for Stoke, then they should pack their bags and fuck off right now.

The way he's talking he sounds like he's going to drop half the lineup for the younger players, I'll believe it when I see it.

We were crap tonight but its another game we've come unstuck because of Butland, I don't want to pin it all on him as that wouldn't be fair but take his howlers out of it and we'd be looking a lot better off.

When did he realise this then? Why didn’t he realise this before picking them every week? Do those players include some he signed? If he knew before tonight why is he so dedicated to playing them when he signed the alternatives?

Perhaps they don't want to play for you Nath? Are you a lemming? If thats the case who will they play for? A big name manager who has been there and done it. Someone who they can look up to and have total faith in their ability as manager. Unless this happens the slide will continue.

Unless this happens the slide will continue. It requires a big name manager then? That's bollocks mate. Four games in, I'd give a bit more time. Players need to perform or be benched. And sit there until they pull their fucking socks up.

Has he fuck made it worse, its a pity he didn't shame a few more players in the interview. Jack does not want to be playing for Stoke its written all over him. You don’t say that on the tv on Sky Sports. You just don’t. He’s a fucking idiot. I’d rather think it’s refreshingly honest, rather than the miserable shite Hughes would peddle. Butland desperately needs to be dropped but I fear we have no better alternative which is beyond concerning.
