Thought we deserved a win but really positive game nonetheless. Again, the issues are obvious but the our general play is undoubtedly improving game-by-game.
Match sponsors got it right giving Woods MOTM (there were other notable mentions).

Derby have absolutely thieved a point there. Not really, when we presented it to them on a plate. Totally unnecessary penalty.

Derby have absolutely thieved a point there. 100%. How they got one I’ll never know. Its obvious why, because our defending was piss poor for both goals.

We should have scored at least 4 there.

Yet again, points that got away...
No win, no dice
I'm doing my best to stay positive here, but this already feels like a season of non-contention
Are we fucking cursed?

You can see it coming together slowly.
Starting so badly and again not taking our chances has been our achilles heel this afternoon.
Overall we performed really well and I'm happy with the performance.
If we can some consistency with our performances the results WILL come.
Woods was absolutely mustard today and easily my MOTM.
Mclean and Gregory put in excellent shifts aswell.
Joe Allen.....well it's hard to defend him really.
Much more familiar performance from Jack today.

A good hardworking performance and generally well played but we are very open through the middle and vulnerable to swift counter attacks. Given the chances either team could have won so perhaps a draw is a fair result. On the whole a lot more encouraging.

Positive, excellent performance.
Negatives (minor):
It didn't look like Jones needed to change the formation, however he may have feared another pointless game impacting the crowd too much.
I don't get the point of bringing on Ty Campbell when the opposition are sat in deep. Surely one to bring on when we are winning robin an away performance and the opposition have pushed up.
Joe Allen.

We had a lot of pressure and failed to capitalise and on the couple of occasions they broke away we saw how susceptible the diamond is.Butland ultimately got us the point but we should have been out of sight before then. Vast improvement on the previous games but still lots to do

1 point from 9 with 2 games being at home. Not good enough. Just fuck off you melt Well it's not good enough is it. Are you seriously happy with 1 point fro 9? It's relegation form

Very encouraging display but yet again we dont win a football match and the run of games without scoring 3 goes on.
We simply have to turn these improved performances into wins sooner rather than later.
Special mention to McClean who after a shaky start was excellent 2nd half as was Ryan Woods.
Again though its Joe Allen who's presence on the pitch will continue to hold this team back.

Pleased with that, mainly because we battled away.Daft first goal, still lacking finishing but creating chances. Thought penalty was dubious and ref was crap. Thought Mac was MOM but Woods and him equal.
Big improvement against a top 6 team from last season.Hopefully we are on our way.
Actually enjoyed the game and its been a while since I thought that of a league game.

I bloody enjoyed that. Lots to be pleased about but the main thing for me was the number of players willing to get involved when it kicked off. There is fight in this group. Derby are a better, more polished team than us but we should have won that game through sheer desire.
Long way to go - I don’t like how much space we seem to leave their forwards in at times - but that was very, very encouraging.

Thought Woods was magnificent today, a real class act. Etebo has to come in for Allen surely? He was so bad, sloppy when dribbling, poor off the ball, missplaced or over hit passes and don't get me started on that sitter. Thought he won the ball back well a couple of times but Etebo is superb at that. Thought Campbell looked a handfull when he came on, but it's hard to drop Hogan when he's hit the post three times and scored already this season. I'll give Smith time but for me Edwards has to come in, I've been critical of him in the past but he's streets a head of Smith.

No offence Hackett, but talking about "relegation form" is ridiculously hysterical, hyperbole after 3 fucking games of a season!

Well it's not good enough is it. Are you seriously happy with 1 point fro 9? It's relegation form Yeah but we won against Wigan, and if we're just using an arbitrarily small sample of games you then could just say well winning 100% of the games in the sample is promotion winning form. Don't get me wrong, you can reply and cite longer term form, because indeed that's a sensible platform to make an argument on.
