We played better than today's scoreline and the stats say so too. I honestly can't tell yet whether that's about: a) new squad bedding in, b) lack of quality out there on the pitch, c) poor management, failing to think the game better than the bloke in the other dugout. A combination of all three probably. I so want it to be mainly a) but I'm not convinced, tell you in 4 or 5 weeks...
For today, 5 from me

Excellent for 70-75 mins. Butland howler cost us in the first half but the changes he made to the team looked positive.
Gets a 1 purely because of that substitution. Batshit cr..

10/10 - jones in. dickhead fans out What exactly did he get right? I would take a battering and resilient defensive victory 1-0 over 3-1 and "playing well". What part of 3-1 is playing well? 4 from me. Made changes but couldn't deliver and didn't attend to and get counted when it mattered. He's still our lowest scoring manager of all time and if be surprised if his record wasn't the worst of all time

I don’t even know what to make of this any more. You can’t play Allen as a DM. Needed to change formation to make those subs.

5 for team selection 2 for decent 75 minutes -3 for taking off Woods to screw up defence -2 for taking off Gregory to screw up attack -1 for the result So that is a 1 for me.
I would have thought taking off the best performers is the least successful course of action; and NJ proved this simple theory today.

6/10 i think is a fair score. We played well but only for 70 mins and didnt take our chances.
+ Team performance was much improved + Starting Hogan and Gregory which made us more dynamic + Woods underrated contribution
- Duffy sub was needless - Should have kept the diamond not gone 4231
He can't help that the players didnt take their chances.
I believe it will click soon. We have to show faith in Jones.

Agree with the criteria highlighted here +7 for team selection +7 for decent 75 minutes -4 for taking off Woods to screw up defence (he was working well with Allen) -3 for taking off Gregory to screw up attack (o one strong enough to hold up the ball) -3 for the result So that is a +4 for me. not good enough Gutted - watched it live stream I would have thought taking off the best performers is the least successful course of action; and NJ proved this simple theory today. I'm on the fence but people saying 10 or 1 are mentally challenged. A fair 6 for the changes but we lost 3-1 at the end of the day.

He loses 3 points for keeping Joe Allen on the pitch.
Should have left Woods on and took Allen off

7 was great starting lineup. Better side throughout and unlucky as ever. -3 for subbing Duffy for woods instead of Allen.

Great start, team thoroughly motivated for the quick start, (them quick starts are a joy to watch)line up was right we were just unlucky today. Only reason jones doesnt get a 10 from me is he probably (imo) made too many subs that halted our rhythm.Should have carried on how we were for me we were playing well

6 much improved from last week and he picked the right two up front. But once again his inexperience and naivety showed in his dumb ass substitutions. I sincerely hope he is being critical of himself and learning from his mistakes otherwise he will never progress as a manager.

3*
6 changes was bold but taking Woods off was negligent.
Slowly beginning to think he's making it up as he goes along.

5* surprising starting 11, but it turned out pretty good...for a while. Even Ward looked OK, and I really worry about him
At 1-1 I genuinely thought we looked likely winners, but the missed chances hurt us.
Duffy's first 2 touches were brilliant and I was getting quite excited, then he made his 3rd change, switched Duffy inside, and the lad disappeared...why not play him in his best position?
I also felt it should have been Allen for Duffy, not Woods, although match fitness might be a factor
Much improved performance, but the disruption to the team balance, albeit for a seemingly positive reason, ultimately caused our downfall

3 another debacle in front of our goal and all the back 4 are his signings, subs turned out to be the wrong choice and never mind Allen how the fuck does Clucas stay on the pitch never mind keep getting picked week in week out. You're starting to walk on thin ice Jones with some supporters patience already wearing thin. Gouranga.

5/10. He set up the team well. The team came out un-ready to adapt to Charlton stepping up in the second half. His changes were then poor - Woods being the worst of them, and Duffy not being far off.

Pleased he played Woods instead of Cousins and that he had the balls to change the top 2 as they were so ineffective against QPR.
BUT
The subs were absolutely abysmal, taking off Woods and Gregory just totally changed the game..
If Hogan scores more than 8 goals this season I'll he amazed.
