I couldn't help it after your "performances are more important than results" bollocks.
I have to agree completely, it's one of the most ridiculous things I've read to date. Today's performance was far from convincing, and defensively shambolic (as usual). What is that cliche? Good teams always find a way of winning, despite the performance? We are utterly void of inspiration. We have not dominated a gamne that we can convincingly say that we "battered them", and we have won 3 in 23+ games under this manager. I'm the prem that would be considered completely unacceptable. I believe TP's end game under similar circumstances, Rowett did much better and still went, Lambert would have probably done better. This is desperate and I can't see it turning at all. Never are performances more important than points, form is temporary... Unless your losing every game.
Good teams don’t constantly play shit and win though. That’s a misreading of said cliche. If performances pick up, that’s encouraging and we should stick with it, irrespective of short term results.
If performances are like the QPR one for any period of time he’ll be on his bike and rightly so.

Still fully behind Jones. Fine lines, could have won that today and the chat probably would have been around some fine performances and front foot football. We lost and it’s shit but the performance by the players was a significant improvement. Hopefully we’ll perform like that in the next game, cut out some errors and get a result.
My big beef with Jones is his big gob, he’s partly to blame for creating a sense of expectations with some of his pre season media commentary.
