Derby 'massive gamble' County Big name = MUST BE DEFINITELY BRILLIANT It's the Oatie "Nice bloke = Give him a coaching job at Stoke" logic again

Bubbles Spa opposite the Railway Station is very nice...So I am told, as I have never actually been there myself obviously.

Doesnt matter if he is not as fit as he was, when he has the ability to ping a pass onto the head of a sixpence who needs pace. Let some other bugger run after it, not to mention he will now take all the free kicks Wilson was banging in for them.
Top signing

100k a week for someone miles past their best? 😳 Would have him for a season over Gayle who’s financial package would probably be in excess of 25 million with fees wages etc with no sell on value

Lampard was a good shout as a rookie manager, Rooney however is thick as shit so I wouldn't imagine it will end very well if that happens.

Classic quote legs have gone lmao how many times over the years have I heard that Did you see him play just before he left the Premier League? It was sad to watch. Apply that to a more physical league over 46 games. He’s doing brilliantly in MLS, he’s a hero there, he’d be better off stopping where he is. You’d be better off getting some more Premier League wonderkids to come in and fall over a lot again. with respect , you support a club, with the likes of kevin wimmer and Jordan cousins on the books !
wayne rooney is head and shoulders above ' footballers' like that

With the regard to the Rooney is a thick fucker. That may well be so. However he is respected as a player worldwide. Sadly as always in England/ UK we like to put people down who are successful. Steve Davis, Andy Murray etc .
He will garner respect on the training ground. Our own Noel Blake never came across as Einstein but he has forged a decent coaching career.
Forget Man Utd..... Rooney is an all time England and Premiership legend. Absolutely fantastic for Derby to have Cocu and Rooney and I for one wish it was us.

I wish Rooney all the best with his coaching career but the signs were there for a long time before he left Everton that he had come to the end of his playing career. The Championship is an extremely demanding league and Rooney will always have the odd dash of brilliance but I just can not see this move being successful! The man of course also has his demons!

I wonder how the manager thinks of this. Theres no way it was his idea. Derby chairman obviously saw an opportunity and a financial package with sponsors to help pay for it.

Top signing Surely not at that price though. 100k a week, if they didn’t go up surely they’d be fucked? Might piss off the other lads that have to do the running on 90% less wedge!

Fair play to Derby, they’re completely taking the piss out of the FA with the FFP loopholes they keep finding.

So are we saying we can't have opinions on any other club's players because we've got some dross (harsh to lump Cousins in with Wimmer after one game too)? Don't talk soft lad.

Perhaps we could sign Bojan as player-coach in January too.
I mean not that we need him, where would I get such an idea. There's nothing he can coach that our players could possibly learn from.
But just to follow suit with the suits.
