I understand there is a mechanism for simplifying the visible thread contributions by blocking some users. I am honestly fed up of one posters incessant wittering. You get the occasional genuine, incisive or controversial post from a reasonable poster but their comment is immediately swamped in a stream of self satisfying rhetoric from a system abuser. I need to know how to block out this individual so I no longer have to trawl through all his rubbish before finding something of substance.

Hello, I worked this one out awhile ago. Go on to the persons profile. At right hand side of screen, There’s the follow/send message box and to right if that is a cog symbol, click that and it allows you to block them. That way their posts won’t show without you actively clicking a box to enable seeing them. Does this help?

Thanks Telford, that's done. See how it goes as culprit is blocked. May be like banging your head against a brick wall, its great when it stops.

Quite easy to do
I take it they don't know as some seem to appear straight after I post something pretty much every time but posts are invisible and if they attempt to reply or quote it doesn't register.
I do miss them

I'd like to be able to block all mention of a 5 letter word starting with P, ending with S and having ULI in the middle
