Heard it tonight for the first time, but ... obviously the incident happened on June 30.
A rap artist called Asap Rocky (never heard of him myself, but he's apparently world famous), is arrested in Sweden for assault in the center of Stockholm.
It was him and and two other men who attacked a man. Asap Rocky threw the man to the ground and then the three hit/kicked him.
There is a mobile video clip online presented by someone (who?) of this whole incident! And from another mobile video clip presented by the rap artist the day after the first video was presented online, it shows he was chased by the assaulted victim and another man prior to that, at least according to the rap artist.
What makes me wonder, is this: why do: Melania Trump Donald Trump Rod Stewart Justin Bieber Kim Kardashian
and a lot of others engage in this and wanting him to be released? Tomorrow he might be.
Donald Trump have said: "I will call the talented Swedish Stefan Löfwen (leader of the SocialDemocrats and Prime Minister of the government as well), if they can help Asap Rocky ... (meaning: to release him)". Is he only ironic?
According to other sources the assaulted victim is said to be from Afghanistan originally.
This is weird in SO many ways.

Agree with Musik here, you’ve got the likes of the appalling Kanye West lobbying his mate Trump to get this guy released, leaves a very bad taste in the mouth . Seems Trump exhibits his racist tendencies dependent on the situation.

You have to admit there’s a few of the rappers that only ever come to widespread prominence when something non- musical happens like this. There was one that got killed at a motorbike dealers a few months back, XTemptation or something. Can tell my rap knowledge isn’t all though, mind you my JayZ impression generally entertains the kids ( well maybe it did along time ago

One less rapper off the streets is to be applauded. Possibly the first time I’ve disagreed with you in here. We haven’t seen all the evidence, going off those two snippets, it’d be very difficult to advocate for indeterminate holding, regardless of opinions on the individual. That kid had a pasting coming his way for a long time from those videos, I can’t see it standing up in any reputable court, even one in a country that treats serious offenders like fucking royalty 😬

Never heard of him either, but here’s the video:- If that’s it, I can’t believe he’s being held... The worst crime of all in that video is filming in portrait. I'd make the culprit spend a night in the cells in a landscape-shaped bed for teach him a lesson lark.

Just found another video that might cast some light on his arrest:- These so called celeb gossip shows are the lowest of the low for entertainment with the so called realty rubbish I think the woman in this clip shows the kind of person who actually cares. The US Office did a great spoof with the character Kelly Kapoor re individuals who see some C list celeb getting a new girlfriend as major news I remember seeing one on Singapore Airlines and the big story was an actress going for a jog. Spend 10 mins describing her hoodie/trainers etc and was no sign of a ring on her finger etc Why would anyone care? Sadly many do

I don't like listening to Rita Ora but I still know who she is, he's the equivalent in the hip hop world if you're talking popularity.

That kid had a pasting coming his way for a long time from those videos, I can’t see it standing up in any reputable court, even one in a country that treats serious offenders like fucking royalty 😬 In the swedish media they haven't focused on the defence video, only on the assault video where the defenceless guy get kicked at. And a bit longer version. Here you can't take the law in your own hands. They guy they beat up hadn't even used any violence. So it's a crystal clear case if they follow swedish law. Addition: some people here now in the media say the guy from Afghanistan hit one of the rap guys in the face. That's how it started? I didn't notice more than some arguing in that first video clip. It's funny how little Trump knows about our legal system here before he uses twitter. 1) No Minister can have any influence on our legal system. 2) In Sweden a suspect can, in theory, be arrested for eternity, because there is no time limit whatsoever. Besides, the swedish system isn't a fast one. 3) We don't, as in the US, have a system where you (at least temporarily) can pay for your freedom (bail). I'm very interested in: WHO filmed the assault? I'm pretty sure the guys from Afghanistan didn't know at all who they were confronting. Or he might have been star struck? It could be thought of as stalking though. Or he simply wanted to go the same way ... It hasn't been any clear proof yet that he broke anyone's headphones. And it doesn't have any importance for the punishment for the assault. And it's also irrelevant if he touched any woman's ass. Just saying how it works here.

Thing I love about Rap Artists, no matter if born in NY, Birmingham or Stockton On Tees, they seem to have very bad Jamaican accents. There's a lad in his mid-20s who lives near me with the most ridiculous accent you've ever heard. It's sort of a mixture betwixt Jamaican patois and that weird accent of London's feral yoot. The thing is though, he's white. His parents are white his grandparents are white and he's never even been to London, let alone Jamaica. Even his Sister, who is also white (and quite hot) says he sounds like a fucking moron.
