Impressive season for the youngsters to date.
Easy to forget with our woes on the pitch that the academy does finally look like its beginning to bear fruit......

Jarvis should be in the squad tonight imo. He won’t be.
And why Sørensen or Dunwoody aren’t on the bench above Cousins is anyone’s guess.

Think I'm one of the few who can see a decent enough footballer in cousins, but I don't believe it was right to sign him and continue to block the academy players getting into the first team squad. If we do get relegated, there is a great opportunity to get the academy players into the first team and have that as the future.

I agree that relegation might give us the opportunity to develop these young players into a decent team but that requires keeping Jones or someone similar. If Pulis comes back we won't hear of most of them again at Stoke.

I think Russell needs to be given a more hands on role at first team level, seems like a really good coach. I have never actually seen Delap move off the bench on match days, neither the other first team coach for that matter.

Rooster spends half the game shouting at Wara.

Pulis would not play youth team players just to prove that he was right about the academy being a waste of money.

The passing for that last goal!! 😍😍😍😍😍 I haven’t seen slick passing at a tempo like that in years!! Just completely picked them apart
Give Russell a crack at the first team there’s literally nothing to lose right now

Finally a keeper that can save penalties. Getting on a bit in years but you can’t put a price in experience..... Takes me back a bit. I was at Filbert street in the simod cup or whatever it was called after 0-0 draw and Cooper had saved a Oh Georgie Berry penalty so thought we would lose the shootout with Coopers reputation but we won 5-3 i think on penalties. We were shit in them days to but a happy shit.
