I think because with Stoke City FC apparently in the grip of an early summer shutdown, it gives us something to talk about, and introduces a little humour into our unfulfilled lives. when vale have been took over by a four million pounds bid

They have been a drag on stoke city for donkeys years. Id rather see them fold or be wound up rather than, ground share How have they been a drag? The little matter of 6 - 12,000 supporters slap bang in the middle of Stoke City's catchment area wasting their time and effort supporting an adjacent and truly mickey mouse football club, instead of ours. If Stoke had always been a one club town it wouldve have actually been a proper 'city club' if you get my meaning - as it is, valuable resource in the way of club support is wasted on a club thats only going to go out of business at some stage in the next 5 - 10 years and yes when they do - after a few years they will inevitably drift across to support the 'proper' local football club and If I were Peter Coates, I wouldve been quietly planning for that - usurping them and taking their support throughout.

Nice little income but, "please do not ask for credit as a refusal often offends"

What a crazy statement that is. If Stoke City didn't exist Port Vale would of prospered. It is what it is.

With all due respect its a simple business proposition. Think of it this way. The local corner shop has a lidl or an aldi up the road, selling more produce of better quality and---- cheaper. The outcome is inevitable. Its business its football and stoke city should be thinking like that.

I wouldn’t share a taxi with them let alone a stadium

It would cost a lot disinfecting the place after they'd been in. you could house the whole vale support in the away stand

I'm sure that now they have been sold Vale fans think that their fortunes are on the up. Probably they would refuse an offer to ground share as they seek to create an identity for themselves.

I wouldn’t share a taxi with them let alone a stadium At least there would be room in said taxi for a couple more Stokies… Were you around when we played at their place after the Butler Street roof blew off. And if so did you attend any of the games there.

We did let Man Utd play a home game at the Vic in 1971 when they were banned from Old Trafford for 2 games because of hooliganism. So we might as well let just anyone in who might want to use our ground. Strange thing is I haven't got a clue now who United played!
