How strange for me to see the title of this thread as on Friday went and bought a season ticket at St Mary's.
I am a born and bred Stokie (Stone to be exact) and have had season tickets when at the old vic but moved to Southampton over 30 years ago. Due to distance, time, and the dreaded work find it impossible to get "home" regularly but still get to see the mighty Potters when more local. Stoke will always be "my one and only football love " but what else can someone do on a Saturday afternoon in the football season.

Haven’t they got any nice friendly non-league teams you can go to instead of that shower...

I've tried the local non league team and although they won the league by 15 points it shite, just like watching vale play I'm told😂😂

It would feel like cheating on the mrs. I’m on the South coast too between Southampton and Bournemouth and been here 30 years as well. Unfortunately I get to hear exactly how they are doing whether I want to or not, so no chance of me getting a season ticket for either of them.
