With Sarri set to be confirmed as Juve Manager it looks like Frank is off to Chelsea, with a compo fee of 4mill being touted.

I do think it's too soon a move and he should at least stick at Derby for another season or two. If he does go, makes me quite glad we didn't approach him in the summer.

It was always to be. To be fair I think he will do a good job, proved in the Championship, which was his entry qualifications, and respected by everyone. Good luck to him.

No chance of winning the league or Champions League which at the modern Chelsea equates to failure, nonsense yes but sadly true.

While he will have the respect of the dressing room you'd imagine, does he have the tactical nous? He couldn't get Derby promoted and he'd be going up against big hitters in the CL and having to maintain at least 3rd in the PL to be on par with Sarri who was in my opinion treated very harshly.

I'd rather he had a couple more seasons not quite succeeding at FLD than six months mediocrity at Chelsea.
Even we got 4 points off him last season.

I hope he goes there and I hope he uses the masses of English talent they have and I hope they do well.
Because if they do, English football will benefit.
And with their ban looming there’s no reason for them not to. Hopefully Abraham will stay and do well. Mount should feature. And they need to build the side around Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi.

Abraham is nowhere near good enough to play for Chelsea. He was awful for Swansea however he clearly can score goals and he's young so can improve. If Chelsea transfer ban is enforced they are going to have to play their younger players in which case Jody Morris makes sense. If that requires Lampard as well then that's what they will have to do. I fail to see how Lampard's record would get him any other Premier League job never mind top six but that's where Chelsea are at. If Lampard gets a second season at Chelsea then he's done very well. If he doesn't then I can't see how his career will pan out.

Agree with above
Taking over Chelsea, after hazard has left, is like taking over real Madrid after Ronaldo has left
He's on a hiding to nothing
Lampard is not stupid, so presumably he has calculated that he is going to get paid so much money, he is happy to play the fall guy for that much dosh.
