Let's be honest, women aren't funny. I've never laughed at any routine performed by a female stand-up. When it comes to comedians, there are very few I like so I agree with you in that aspect. However, in general I can't agree with you. Some of the funniest people I know are women.

Pisser on here. Imagine if Farage had joked about throwing acid at Khan or Abbott? Jail sentences would be demanded. When Jo Brand was verbally abusing Carl Benjamin (UKIP) that was OK Tricky... Or chucking acid in Farage or Tommy Robinsons face. Now she's 'apologising'..nothing to do with losing her job and wages is it? Still, making 'jokes' about throwing acid at people she doesn't like at least makes a change from her usual subjects..men and periods.

In one sense I don't believe that Farage is particularly bothered, but I do think that he is taking the opportunity of pointing out the hypocrisy of those who think that they have the moral high ground at all times. I like Jo Brand but for me, given the current political climate, in or out of context, I think that she was wrong on this.

Nigel Farage said if Brexit wasn’t delivered he’d don khaki, grab a rifle and go to the front line. Jo Brand asked why people bother throwing milkshakes at far right politicians when battery acid is available.
Farage is a politician. Job description: when you say something, people are supposed to take you seriously. Brand is a comedian. Job description: when you say something, people are not supposed to take you seriously.
It’s Farage who has the questions to answer. End of argument

Which is essentially what Farage did- or did you think he was going to dress up like Sam Neill in Jurassic Park and grab some firearms?

Well she looks like she’s had acid thrown at her so at least she’s speaking from experience. Come on, that's a bit harsh. She'd obviously look much better if she'd been attacked with acid.

So you're not bothered about the hypocrisy of a man who has previously bemoaned people being offended by humour now getting offended when people like him are the butt of the joke?

So she's apologised half heartedly for her "crass" remarks but insists it wasn't a mistake so she meant it as she said it, she should be arrested for incitement now.

My good old honest British way of life are you not British ? Of course he is...He was born in Longton. Really my Dad was born in Gomes mill, nowt wrong with Longton duck. Longton tbf has changed a lot since I used to visit it weekly in the 80's loads of pubs have closed and it always seems to be dark even when the weather is sunny, it has become very run down in some areas though I believe the Park is still a beautiful space in fact I need to get back and visit it soon to visit my gran and granddads grave it has been to long.
