They may get a bit of bounce but from what I've heard on the Hammers grapevine, he lost the plot there and left the players to it at the end.

Well Moore got sacked whilst they were 4th so unless he’s got them in the top 2 in 8 months time he might be in trouble.

Poor appointment for them; it won't end well. 99.9% of managerial appointments don’t end well. Good appointment for them and think he’ll do well. Just about every chairman in the champ would have him if they had the budget.

Always been one of those managers I’ve liked but whose reputation seems tremendously enhanced by his successful career with Croatia. In terms of club management he’s a massive underachiever imo. This will be his first role outside a top division too.

Seems to start well then completely implode and erase any identity his teams had.
The Croatian Mark Hughes.

Bilic will be lucky to last 4 months in the job. He comes into his jobs with lots of enthusiam, but he tends to burn out soon after.

Lol! He gave us our best prem points total and a 7th and 11th place finishes. The football was good, always looking to attack and we scored a lot of goals. He did the same with Croatia and Besiktas and yes ultimately he ran out of steam, but don’t they all. What’s for sure is that some managers never get going at all, Slav ain’t one of those for sure. They’ll love his passion and attacking philosophy and the players will respond to his great knowledge of the game and management style. Good luck Slav and thanks for the memories.

That's lovely, I'd rather stoke not hire a man that looked at whu like a beaten man on the touchline with the same enthusiasim as an inmate on death row. NJ all day long, he come from lower but he had his Luton side playing fast attacking, exciting brand of football with the 3rd most goals scored in the whole football league, 2 promotions. Why can't he replicate that at stoke? I'd rather take a chance on an upcoming manager without a blemish on his record than a proven average/limited manager. The comparison above of bilic & Hughes is on the money for me

I hope he's looking healthier than he did at the end of his time at West Ham. Didn't he oversee the move to the London Stadium? That wouldn't have helped really I suppose.

Albion appear to have had a scattergun approach to choosing their new manager. All in for solid Championship manager Alex Neil only to be rebuffed. Then keen on up and coming manager(s) Cowley brothers at Lincoln. Then strongly linked with solid Championship manager Hughton, then Wilder only to end up with a completely different profile in Bilic.
Doesn't seem to have been any kind of vision for what they wanted.
Bilic will need to get a quick grip on that club. If he does then who knows? If not then it doesn't seem promising.
