When does 'after the weekend' become 'next weekend'? Next weekend never comes!

So technically is this Schrödinger's season both alive and dead till the fixtures are revealed 🤔👍 Very uncertain at this point.

At the moment there is no ‘this season’, there is only ‘last season’ and ‘next season’. Yes. This is close-season, so last is last, next is next, there's no "this" until the first whistle. So the excited fans on the concourse, chugging their last bottle 5 minutes before going up into the stand for kick-off of the first game, have to ask each other how the team will do *next* season? Bollox

In a similar vein when does a chunky chip become a potato wedge?

In a similar vein when does a chunky chip become a potato wedge? Never! A wedge has 3 sides, a chip has 4. Simple potato-ology.

Are you saying a 3-sided slice of potato is a chip with no skin, but a wedge with skin? This is so complex, it could need its own separate board.

I still cant believe how late La Liga 2 goes on considering La Liga finishes in May.
Not even at playoff final yet!

Surely a requisite for a wedge is first and foremost it’s wedge shaped regardless of skin on or off? Also don’t call me Shirley

When you make chips from a whole potato, some of them (those from the outer edges) can only have 3 sides. They’re wedge shaped, but you don’t call them wedges.... you still call them a chip. However if you make the same shaped item without peeling it....that, my friend, is your wedge. My Friday afternoon is complete.

Ahhh but wedges are seasoned we forgot that so a wedge shaped chip p would be a chip with or without skin. But if you seasoned said chip what was wedge shaped before cooking it it would be a wedge with or without skin. I think I’m right with that?🤔😉
