'kin hell irish humour, they have a player called Edna! I’ve heard that his club Sheffield United are linked with a Championship striker who was a frequent scorer however the name is being kept quiet. Apparently they can’t make Edna Gayle of it.

I’m not sure the Ireland team would stay up in the championship? Most of them have been promoted from the Championship at one time so that makes sense

good save Darren and unlucky McClean McClean doesn't have put himself about. Won a lot in the air tonight. Game getting stretched which will suit the Danes. A point be a great result here

Fair play Ireland, utter dogs dinner of a side but shows what can be achieved if well organised and disciplined.

Mad Mick is a great organizer Ipswich were mad to let him go I don't think they had any choice. McCarthy knew he had taken them as far as he could with the very limited resources they had. They had become a selling club and he knew they were only going to go downhill on that basis eventually. I heard an interview with him at the time, he was quite depressed about it. He stuck with for as long as he could. Just look what happened to Ipswich when he left. They were staring at relegation when he arrived too and had transformed them to a Play Off team (9th, 6th and 7th in his first 3 years). He had kept them competitive for the best part of 4 years on absolute zero budget. Excellent manager at Championship level and been brilliant for RoI. I can't understand the negativity towards him at all.

I’m not sure the Ireland team would stay up in the championship? They're currently doing better in the international championships than England are...

Duffy is turning into a fantastic player. Great result against a great Danish side. A great Danish side only on paper, Their centreforward refuses to score goals, a policy which is also adapted by their two wide men. So'ton's Hojbjerg, signed by one Mark Hughes, was their saviour but only until they stopped marking Duffy, which is not a smart thing to do.
