We should be but is it realistic as things stand? Jones is going to have to do a massive job to do it. As things stand I'd say no but let's see after we've got in who Jones wants, maybe it will be more realistic then I don't know. Maybe but even then it will be tough. We’re a massive mess from top to bottom. Like we were last year. Negating that is a tough job.

If he doesn’t I think the people saying lucky not to be relegated will be right.

Playoffs would represent a very good turnaround from our current situation, but we have to see the lay of the land after 10 games or so. I don’t think many would have pipped Norwich for the title after their mediocre start.

This is a 3 to 5 year project. The question is, do the fans have the patience to stay the course. We need to season over season improvement. Anything less and Jones will be out.

That's the attitude that got us where we are. This league is a different kind of challenge. It is as much to do with fitness and application as it has with talent. It's a slog and if you've got players who aren't up for the fight then you're doomed to fail. what got us where we are is bad management and greedy fucking lazy players who did not give a shit. That's more or less what I said.

Score a penalty Save a penalty Score three goals in a game Score four goals in a game Come from behind to win Score a late winner (85+minutes) Win three games on the trot Have three (or more) players score ten+ league goals. Whooa, slow down there, speed racer 😯 FOUR in ONE GAME?!

To win more than one game in seven, which is Jones' current batting average.

Win the league. Should be the aim of every club until mathematically impossible . He wrote 'realistic aims'

Anything less than promotion will be a disaster.

He'll have the same brief as Rowett, the owners expect top 6 at least

He wrote 'realistic aims' Why isn't it a realistic aim? Other clubs have done it. And lots of clubs don’t do it. I take in to account our history and that we are not a club who bounces back quickly. On top of that, the club’s leadership team are nowhere near organised enough to lead and the players we have showed their quality last season. More standard free transfers on their way. I’d say my gut feeling is we’ll be similar or worse than last season.

I think, with a good pre season, 4-5 new players...
We could realistically aim at the goal a bit?

That's exactly how I see it. 10th or above next season is a step in the right direction, this can't be turned round completely in one summer window. Unfortunately for Nathan, I have very little faith in the Pizza Boys being able to facilitate his ambitions.
