Please just stop (Stallone not you). I agree. I loved the first one when I was a kid, but he should have packed this and Rocky in ages ago. Watched him in Copland a while back, and I thought he was brilliant in that; cracking film. He should take a leaf out of Clint Eastwood's book and age gracefully! š

I love his films. Not particularly thought provoking, and fairly easy to follow, and if you do drift away with your concentration it's easy to pick up. It's a yes from me.

To be fair, Rambo 4 (the one from 2008) was really well made in my opinion. I love Rambo 2 just for the action and it was amazing to me as a kid. You have to give him credit with Rocky, he did that one in 2006 and retired from the role essentially, he's Micky now to Adonis.
I personally think Rambo 4 ended on a perfect note so they have to convince me that this is a worthwhile ending as the ending to 4 was about as concluded as you'd expect from an action franchise.

Trailer makes it look like a Taken ripoff.

Dear God - no!
A franchise that lost its way after the first sequel. This 4th sequel looks as silly and pointless as Rambo 3 and 4.
Not something Iāll be looking forward to seeing.

Just come out of seeing it thoughts are that I canāt get enough of Rambo as a character. I enjoyed the film I didnāt think it was as good as Rambo 4 but still good. Just wish it was slowed down a bit, the second half of the film felt like it moved ridiculously fast.

Every bit as dreadful as I thought it would be.
A gore fest that isnāt even very good as a gore fest.
Itās strange how Stalloneās other main character, Rocky, has managed to find new things to say while Rambo just covers old ground.
A waste of time.
Avoid.

Behave, its brilliant! 90 minutes of entertainment š About as entertaining as watching 90 minutes of Nathan Jones just now, albeit not quite as horrifying. I prefer my gore with a sense of humour - John Wick style. Btw - what was interesting was them replaying scenes from the previous Rambo films. As well as showing how young Sly was when this series kicked off it reminds you how good the original First Blood movie and how body count has replaced plot in these films.

I wouldnt put it up for an Oscar but thought it was a nice send off.

Disappointed with this. Started well then rushed through I can only imagine they were up to their necks in edited pieces of film š

Disappointed with this. Started well then rushed through I can only imagine they were up to their necks in edited pieces of film š It definitely felt rushed, it didn't have the nuance of Taken albeit a similar storyline. I think the action was way too quick personally, I think Rambo's character was true to how he's been over the years obviously it's a lot different from the character in First Blood but Rambo 2 onwards it's the same character to me. Rambo 4 was a fitting end for me, he got dragged into a fight he didn't want to be in but acknowledged it's who he is and was able to find peace within and return home at the end only to have that peace become pain and loneliness again in 5.
