According to the "i" newspaper (p.11)today the police are now going to pull the plug on these streams and prosecute anyone sharing paid for content. Meanwhile drug dealers, burglars etc. go scot free!

Police used (at great expense to the taxpayer) to protect the interests of hugely wealthy corporations, most of whom do everything they can to get out of paying any taxes.

Police used (at great expense to the taxpayer) to protect the interests of hugely wealthy corporations, most of whom do everything they can to get out of paying any taxes. Or..... police used to uphold the law? If you don't like the law, either a) vote for a politician who thinks the same way you do, or move to a country that only upholds the laws you think should be enforced.

I'm pretty sure that sharing illegal sports streams has always been illegal and people could always be prosecuted for it....very few people have been though (unless they've made money out of it)
It's said every year that they'll clamp down for the start of the season (even going back to the days when just sopcast was around)....and fuck all is actually done. Isn't even newsworthy.

Does this mean that Wreckit Rob wont be able to offer his rabbit stream? Hope not. I should imagine he’ll be pretty low on the radar, as he’s generally not streaming Sky or BT content. They’ll have much bigger fish to fry.

What sort of illegal sports. Fox hunting, bear baiting, hare coursing, cock fighting... good luck on prosecuting cock fighting, it’ll be compulsory soon...
