Derby really could be average next season, especially if Lampard buggers off to Chelsea.
Take out Mount, Tomori and Wilson and they could well be also-rans.

The only good thing that has happened in football since Stoke beat Liverpool 6-1. Not so, Leeds bottling the semi the other week was good. I've never had an issue with Leeds so not bothered about them.

Well done to Villa. I dont understand some of the flak FL has been getting though tbh. 1st season in management he gets Derby into the play off final while " championship expert " Gary Rowett sets us back probably about 3 years and spends 50m doing it. It’s not him as an individual I think it’s more the press suck up to him calling the club FLD when they’re doing well and DC when they’re not.

At the same time as we signed Sam Clucas, Aston Villa signed another central midfielder, John McGinn. Sam Clucas was injured for the first half of our season. John McGinn won Villa's player of the season and has just scored the Play-Off winner. It would be funny if I wasn't so pissed off. Just what the fuck do our scouting network do?

I dont care about both of the teams but i am a bit happy for the Egyptian owner Nassif Sawiras he is a smart person and Elmohamady who must be fired before the next season, he cant play in PL anymore.

Interesting to see Villa if they lose Abraham - not a big fixture in this match, but absolutely pivotal all season. Cue arrival of 20m Ecuadorian flop.... or return of Benteke? (or Sturridge maybe?) Derby will be distinctly midtable without Wilson and Mount. Tony the grapevine suggests they are going to spend very very material funds this summer north of £100m and with their CEO network yid fancy they will get some decent players .

And sounds like he'd be operating on even more of a shoestring if they can't get another investor.

Perhaps a reliance on young loan players for success may well be viewed as tried, and failed. I wouldn’t be surprised if Derby fail to improve next season and the interested stakeholders (other clubs) see through the experiment and decide to by pass the Derby template.

Didn't see the game today, but did John Terry come on to the pitch at the end in his full Villa kit? ......the original Full Kit Wanker.

Tried to do a link to tweet but failed miserably. Apparently Ross McCormack will see his wages rise to £70K a week as a result of Villa's promotion. 20 games in 3 seasons....
