How do we think this'll turn out?
"Years following the events of "The Shining", a now-adult Dan Torrence meets a young girl with similar powers as his and tries to protect her from a cult known as The True Knot who prey on children with powers to remain immortal."

I've read the book.
OK but didn't blow me away either.
I honestly think there are better writers than King, eg Dean Koontz. His Watchers might just be the most immersed I've ever been in any book.

I used to like a bit of Shaun Hutson and James Herbert- the real life Garth Mareghi.

Prefer Richard Bachman myself The Bachman books are great love all of them imho better than some of his more lauded works as Stephen King

Watchers is Ace. The first DK book I read and went on to read loads more. Did he ever complete the "Moonlight Bay" stories?
