Angry protests continue over Birmingham school's 'okay to be gay' lessons.
In the news lately. Interested to hear folks views on the matter. Difficult one in my view in that I wouldn't take my child out of such lessons but personally not that keen either but also don't like the prospect of predominantly muslim objections to what UK schools teach.

Do they also run one “okay to be straight”?

Do they also run one “okay to be straight”? It's very clearly OK to be straight. No one was ever thrown from the roof of a building or killed in a pub nail bombing specifically because they were straight.

Hmmm, I wonder why there aren't hordes of SJW counter protesters out on the streets waving their little rainbow flags?

Yeah it must be a tough one for you to wrestle with deciding which phobia has top trumps for you. These lessons contain things like some kids have 2 mums, some have 2 dads and people really want to object to that ?

Never disputed the point of being gay but when one focuses children to one view, it can become an issue in the future.

If it were a demonstration against Islamic studies it would be seen as illegal and arrests would result over in days.

Can you hear the 'ME TOO' sing I can't hear a fucking thing. I mean this if he was a white Christian it would be a hate crime and he would be locked up. It's quite clear those are homophobic comments and misogynistic but it's ok the Qur'an says it's ok.

He should just refuse to treat her. Don't get me wrong, if he asked her to remove her niqab in a rude or abrupt manner, he should have a verbal warning regarding his attitude. But if he's asked her politely in order to improve communication then this shouldn't even be an issue. The problem I have with 'cultural awareness' is it always only seems to be one way, and it usually seems to be the tail wagging the dog. The other issue I have is unless there are cameras in his office, it's one person's word against another so how can he in a position where he may lose his job?

Don’t worry he’s a bully and if he’d ever suffered abuse in his life he’d know better. A course is too good for him. Lucky bastard.

The evidence would be deemed inadmissible as she couldn't be identified through face recognition, maybe they could fine her £90
