Went to Euro Disney on a Friday.
Big mistake - it's dress down day for the staff. I had a photo with 'Goofy' but it was just a fat bloke from Paris with cargo shorts and and a No Fear t-shirt.
I wrote to Trading Standards but they weren't interested.

Depends where you go
Bali is stunning but if you follow the tourists then you might as well be in commercial Spain. Same with Brazil, Copacabana a shithole but tourists flock there over say Ipanema, same with Thailand. Tahiti a real let down for me, you have to spend time and head to the islands. Fiji a big like

Iceland - a stunning country. Would highly recommend the Vatnajƶkull National ParkĀ if you want to see some stunning glacial features, geysers and volcanic features. Blue lagoon resort is very good too but is a bit touristy.
Also venice mainland, folk think venice is just the island, but the mainland bit was genuinely better in my opinion, with superb food at a fraction of the cost, and a proper idyllic approach to life. You can get to the island on the train for a quid if you want the tourist carnage though.
Worst place for me is benidorm. Lives up to the tag of england abroad.

Itās a complete tourist trap with no soul We went to Siena around the time of the Palio race around the central square. All the houses were flying the flags of their districts and there were several different groups of drummers practising and people twirling/throwing the huge flags. It was really interesting to see and our guide explained the race went back to the mid 1600's. We thought the cathedral is fantastic as well. We loved the place.

I often wonder what the locals think TBF, the beaches in Benidorm are super clean, they clean, clear & airate them at night, ie stick tubes in the sand and blow air into them..I like the place, but yes it is Sunny England, a bit like Tenerife..
