Is this that "Carousel" VAT fraud? Yes Some right thick fuckers involved with that one. I met two relatives of one of them. When I say "thick", I am really talking dense as they come.

Can't speak too much about VAT fraud from 20 odd years ago, but Amazon and eBay are the big targets for VAT fraud now. There's actually been a pretty big clamp down on it, but the amount of companies that were using Amazon Prime and offering such cheap prices was astounding.
Great at times if you were buying and it wasn't something which they were providing a Chinese imitation of but it was rampant.
It's not quite the same, but often those who dabble in the VAT dodging are also usually skimming on postal services and other stuff in general. When you're buying though and the difference is say £6 to £11 because the postage is being done dodgy and there's no VAT paid we all end up opting for the £6 one though don't we?

"British Asians" again BJR. Some sections of the British Asian community must be heartily pissed off with this tag.

I knew two of the original carousel fraud gang, one of them got arrested flying back to the UK on fake docs the day after 9/11.
Also...Ask yourselves why JC has never been knighted...Stories abound that people did time for him.

I'm sat in my favourite restaurant in Can Pastilla, Mallorca reading this and smiling warm in the knowledge that some other f***** in Stoke knows the score...;-)
