Just load up on him on footballindex and make some money off the move. Only way I can think of dampening the pain.

I can't see the sense in Jack choosing to go to any club that could be relegated next season.
Only the top 6 and Everton have not been relegated; any of the others are vulnerable even the likes of West Ham have skirted with the relegation zone.
It would clearly improve his England chances, but he would also be at risk of playing for a team where he spends his time picking the ball up out of the net like last season.
I think he would be wiser to sit tight and wait for a top club to want him. If none do, doesn't that tell him and us something?

The truth is, if you're not in the PL , you don't exist. He'll be off, don't blame him. Are people trying to argue Bournemouth aren't a step up from Stoke at the moment. Get real.

He'll be off - probably to Palace or Bournemouth. TBF given FFP, Butland and several others are a 'luxury' we won't be able to afford.

So, it seems likely that Butland is off, especially with a kid now and if it’s true about his Mrs family live on the IOW and I’m sure his parents are Bristol/Cheltenham way?
Who do you get to replace him? I’d look at Danny Ward who’s currently number 3 at Leicester (was at Liverpool) and was actually the keeper that got Huddersfield promoted a couple of seasons ago.
My 2nd choice would be dean Henderson but can see him staying at Sheff Utd if they go up.
3rd would be David Raya as his distribution is very very good.
There may be more but they’re the ones off the top of my head.

We were lucky he stayed this season. He needs to keep his profile up so he'll be gone in the summer.

Shouldn't be a problem cashing in if you have the foresight to have had your eyes on replacements and the replacement is not just a 'punt' in the dark. Thing is with us I'm not sure which bracket we fall into.
I do think we should sell Allen & butland though. The place needs fresh air, apart from 4 or 5 I'd listen to bids for any of them.

I would have Joe Hart but i wouldnt have Begovic back because he left us once and i couldnt trust him not to do it again. Although they are both great keepers

Never trust an article with no quotes. That said I'd be surprised if Bournemouth is the height of Butland's ambition.

Never trust an article with no quotes. That said I'd be surprised if Bournemouth is the height of Butland's ambition. Bournemouth pay good wages, are a steady & established Premier League Club with a committed board & management set up. He's also guaranteed first team football which enhance his England credentials & above everything else being based at Bournemouth suits Butlands own personal circumstances. Should say that is more than enough to match his ambitions.

I can see why, but these cheating twats? If he goes there it will tarnish the memories for me. I can’t wait for normal order to be resumed and that wanky little club return back to the League 2 levels they deserve.

If we'd have had a decent end to the season I'd have been hopeful of keeping him. If I was him looking at how apathetic things have become I'd be looking elsewhere.

Unless there is more than one club bidding for Butland, that will be the most we can expect. I’d put a reserve of about 15 million and not take a penny less.

Good to see we’re not going let him go on the cheap.
Can’t see us getting 30mil for him though. I think we could push 20 out of someone.

30m seems about right.
he's defo off, no way we can keep him. He needs prem football the season before a major international tournament
He'll go with a big 'thank you and all the best for the future' from me.
We do however, need to be lining up an incredible replacement right now.

£30m is probably the going rate for a young English international. Still think we'll do well to get over £20m though.
Anything north of 25m we should snap their arms off imo. We have seen time and time again experienced 30+ keepers do a job for stoke.
Begovic or bringing grant in on loan would do nicely

After yesterday's display of poor distribution and inability to get the ball back out to keep up momentum I think it's time for a change and cash in on him.

Our transfer team? Expect 12 million tops.....they couldn’t sell an ice cream on a hot day so I’ve little confidence they will do a good deal here.

There is a sense though because even at a club like Norwich, Jack would be back in the spotlight, he only has to perform, it’s a steppingstone, in the hope of another, bigger move. He can’t remain a forgotten man in the championship for another season. He’s a good lad, he should go with our blessings. Of course it rankles that a club such as Bournemouth should be able to pick our bones but the disparity between the top flight and Championship is that great.

After yesterday's display of poor distribution and inability to get the ball back out to keep up momentum I think it's time for a change and cash in on him. The other way of viewing that is that, first half especially, none of our outfield players were even looking to receive a quick pass from him.

Pickford is the bench Mark it was a similar scenario. Not sure where just over 2 years on his contract stands us though. Definatly going this summer with a contract that short. Much rather a more experienced keeper myself anyway, get him gone and add it to the rebuild

There’s no way Begovic would drop down to the Championship and there’s no way any Championship team would meet his wage demands.
After Jones’ comments about not wanting to sign players who think they’re doing us a favour by signing I think we can definitely rule Begovic out.
Danny Ward or Alex McCarthy would be excellent replacements although McCarthy might be unwilling to drop down a league.
