Well as we are not bothering with goals the best we can aim for is 8 points from 8 cleansheets Itโs gonna be exciting ๐คช That about sums it up. It's had an "end of season" feel about it since around November.

What a pessimistic bunch you all are! First of all I would have thought that the majority of fans might have a more realistic insight into the situation this club has been through. I would certainly put us on a par with Sunderland's fall from grace. We certainly look as though we will avoid a double relegation! How many points we will gain before the end of the season is irrelevant! I am seeing improvement under Nathan Jones and I believe he has the players all pulling in the correct direction. I was impressed by Verlinden on Saturday and I firmly believe that width he can now achieve we will start to score more goals. We have no reason to be afraid of any team in our league for the remaining games and am optimistic that two or three wins will occur. Really looking forward to watching the remaining games and of course next season.

Oh bugger Sheff Utd last game The joy of seeing some bugger else celebrating promotion. Great ๐ก We could well see ourselves raise our game against them I'd love to ruin promotion for them fuck seeing another club celebrate promotion on our own patch it was bad enough seeing Wigan fans and players celebrate survival when Blackpool went down instead of them hurling Martinez up in the air the players were sickening!

I can't believe the majority of the teams vying for promotion have spent a fraction of the money we have.just goes to show you can't buy success.

Stoke Score First
Wednesday - reckon they will come out at us, opening up the game and leaving them exposed on the break. 2-1.
Blackburn - another away game against mediocre opposition. 0-0.
Swansea - reckon we will struggle with their pace and dynacism across the park. 0-2.
Rotherham - they will come and park the bus, it will be scrappy, but I think we'll just nick it. 1-0.
Boro - they have struggled at home, particularly to create clear chances, but our stodgy attacking play won't break them down. 0-0.
Norwich - the class of the division. Think they will kill us on the break. 1-3.
Millwall - struggling, but are a tough nut to crack away. Reckon it'll be another stalemate. 0-0.
Sheff Utd - reckon it'll be a nervy day for them. Two teams to mostly cancel each other out but there will be a couple of scrappy goals. 1-1.
So I make it 2 wins, 4 draws and 2 defeats - 10 points leaving us on 57 and 15th/16th.

Could be the lowest odds on 0-0 ever!

We are now playing in a parallel league - that you can't get relegated in - in which Nathan Jones wants us to finish the season with a bit of momentum, So we should target something like 16-18 points, and while our remaining games look hard, the fact is that the two Sheffields and Norwich will go into those games with everything to lose, while we really have nothing to lose, so I'm predicting 9 pts., also because we tend to do really well vs the best teams in this division. The same (nothing to lose vs teams that have everything to lose) really applies to the games vs Millwall and Rotherham, so that's another 6. The players might struggle to motivate themselves vs SWansea, Blackburn, and Boro, but we are experts in drawing away, so that's another 3, making it 18 in our final 8. The only trouble is who's gonna score the five needed for five 1-0 wins?
How's that for momentum?
