They're good aren't they. Started off as inspirational sports dramas, went a bit more down the action movie route and have sort of come full circle with the Creed movies. Fair play, up to 8 movies now with the 2 Creed films, and it looks a certainty of a 9th. Also talk of a Drago movie.
Still love this fight, not in the least bit realistic but its bloody exciting, the music really makes it - and the ott sound fxππ

I love the first 2 and wish theyβd stopped there to be honest. Albeit Eye Of The Tiger was a belter!

There is a good case that the fight in Rocky 2 is the best in the series This is really well done, choreography, make up fx, sound fx, editing, it's brilliant.
At the other end though, the fight in Rocky 4 looks poorly choreographed and the less said about Rocky 5s climactic street brawl the better!! Got back on form here though, better than it had any right to be

Love the Rocky films. I could watch them over and over. Rocky 4 is one of the best ever made

Love the Rocky films. I could watch them over and over. Rocky 4 is one of the best ever made See, I think Rocky 4 has dated perhaps the worst, with the Cold War. I'm also think the fight looks very staged too. I do think though that the murder of Apollo still looks as brutal today as 30 odd years ago. Saying that, I love this song and the accompanying montage π

As a kid I loved the first 3,and even now just hearing the opening few bars of the music makes me want to gleefully punch the air,but I think I'd rather watch Hagler and Hearns going at it than the films these days.

Your kids will never truly appreciate the bit of plastic that was the Rocky IV soundtrack album

Mr T was awesome and his body was so chiselled and defined....well, it made me all hot under the collar.π

Rocky 5 was embarrassingly bad, the story itself was decent for the type of movie but the execution was all over the place and the end brawl I knew was wank even as a kid

You can't beat a good training montage.

What's the consensus on the Creed movies? I've got the first on bluray and the second is out this month. Somehow I haven't got round to seeing them yet though either at cinema or at home. I'll probably wait for Creed 2 and watch them both in one weekend. Apparently Creed 3 is rumoured to have Clubber Langs son as the opponent for Creed, with Deontay Wilder possibly in the frame ππ

Clubber Lang is a bellend. Ivan Drago is a legend and I absolutely love how Sylvester Stallone takes credit for ending the Cold War. I hate that robot though.
