It Etebo still isn’t fit I’d start him in DM v Reading. Unlike Woods at least he looks forwards and at least he can tackle. What the hell has happened to Woods hes gone massively backwards. When he started with us he looked pretty decent.

What's happened to Sorensen? Does it look as if he's not where we need him to be yet?

The fact that this is even a thing is absolutely mind blowing!

In the time he was on the field he played the ball forward more times than I have seen from Woods in his last 10 appearances and more accurately.
It seems to me that Woods has zero confidence that why he plays the ball back or sideways or misplaces passes. It wouldnt be so bad but he often plays the ball to defenders who are not in the best of positions. Allen does pretty much the same alot of the time, at least Williams looks forwards. The only problem with Williams is that when he does get caught in possession that invariably ends up as a yellow card offence.

Fletcher’s brain and feet are quicker which is a terrifying thought....

After Sheff Wed away the Sentinel ran a specific article on Woods about how he was the key to everything. Talk about premature ejaculation.
As someone else alluded to this is staggering that this has happened.
The amount of flops is incredible.
Irrelevant of how well he plays Ashley Williams in any midfield let alone a side who were title favourites is mind blowing

Williams seemed to be playing at CB at the left of a 3 when he came on last night, with BMI on the left side of midfield!? and McClean went up front I think. Fuck knows, it was pretty random anyway.
Personally I would never consider playing him anywhere other than CB, and even then - he was past his best a few years ago. The sooner Etebo, Vokes, and Clucas are back, the better.

If it was a 5-2-3 I think. To be fair defensively they never threatened when Williams came on apart from the last ditch Shawcross tackle, but up top it was excruciating......

Yes, I couldn't figure out what the late plan was either-'random' sadly , might just sum it up. Woods had a terrible game, and it's worrying that it took around 80 minutes for the manager to recognize and try to do something about it.

I couldn't get my head around where Indi was playing. Why not drop McClean back and bring on Bojan or Verlinden to give them something to think about?

What's happened to Sorensen? Does it look as if he's not where we need him to be yet? Sorensen has apparently broken a bone in his foot and is touch and go to play again this season. For me it is easily solved for Saturday by playing Bojan as the most forward of a middle three with Allen and whoever else is fit and available behind him. Give Verlinden a role in the front three alongside Ince and, I guess, a makeshift forward in McClean (better than Diouf surely, with Afobe and Vokes out?). Reading are shockingly bad and we need to go on the offensive and dominate them.

Reading are shockingly bad and we need to go on the offensive and dominate them. I agree we need to go on the offensive and dominate them but who with and how to when we don't have fit strikers, and no midfielders who don't have confidence problems? As for being "shockingly bad", Reading have 13 pts in their last 8 games, whereas we have 8 pts for the same amount.

We might have steadied the ship a little, but no one in this division is shockingly bad compared to us.
