Will we take any 'top boys' down to Millwall or are those days long gone?
I go to most of our matches in the south and if I were to characterise our away following these days it looks part happy family outing to a swimming gala, part pensioners club.
Nothing wrong with that of course, just noting it in this context.

That's still a few weeks away. By then they will probably have enforced more cuts and there will be no police left in London.

Wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of Remain/Leave Brexit demo on in Central London as well.

Every man and his dog are going. Nothing but pure carnage I’m afraid I know mate. Going to be very difficult to police. They always used to solve the post match 'activities' problem by keeping us in the stand almost until motd was about to start, then marching everyone to the coaches whether they'd travelled that way or not. Right pain in the arse when you're parked in the opposite direction and living in the South.

Ely, I remember those days well, I was living in Peterborough at the time, and had parked by the old den. Took a bit of persuading to let me go to my car.
In fairness, I had no mither, but there were some horrible people around!

Many of these fixtures will be changed. Not a chance will all those teams play on the same day/kick off time.

Think there will be problems at this one. If anybody gets in my way, when I am rushing to use the facilities. I will whack them with my tartan blanket. Be warned you Millwall dockers.

Can't people go to a football match, have a nice day out, chat with other fans and create a good atmosphere instead of acting like morons?

I was speaking with ironic Dementia. If there is such a condition. Relating back to my youth. Doubt there are any dockers these days.

Tilbury docks are still going, I remember George Osborne being on the news in high vis and hard hat as they were building something there, he'd stayed in the same hotel as I had in Thurrock the night before. Looks like they are building Tilbury 2 soon www.tilbury2.co.uk/

For those reading this thread and contemplating a day out at the New Den, it is possibly the safest away day going. You can go door to turnstile without coming within 30 feet of a Millwall fan. Just do it, you'll be absolutely fine.
No doubt some of our young wannabes will get the train to Euston, spill loads of beer in a pub in Central London somewhere whilst making complete dicks of themselves, get the overland to South Bermondsey, walk down the "tunnel" straight to the away end before spending the whole 90 minutes making cut throats signs and shouting "Where were you Millwall?"
