New series starts this month, harry takes 11 ex England players who, well, lets just say , have not looked after themselves, on a training regime, leading up to a game against Germany.. This England team, led by manager Harry Redknapp, is a who’s who of former 80's and 90's international legends including; John Barnes, David Seaman, Robbie Fowler, Mark Wright, Matthew Le Tissier, Chris Waddle, Rob Lee, Ray Parlour, Lee Sharpe,Mark Chamberlain, Paul Merson, and Razor Ruddock. Our all-star eleven are getting together for one last job, but this time their goals are more about their waistlines than the touchlines. John Barnes looks mahoosive. www.itv.com/presscentre/press-releases/itv-serves-full-english

Yeah I saw John Barnes doing some TV work on Question Time last week. Charmed the 'brexit means brexit' angry mob in the audience by suggesting they weren't terribly bright.
He looks like he is no stranger to an occasional pie these days.
In fact it's no exaggeration to say he'd pop the buttons on one of Neville Southall's shirts !

John Barnes kids go to the same school as mine in Chester and its fair to say he isn't svelte, but my missus says he's still popular with the yummies at pick up time.

Which players will be in the German team? Presumably not Klinsmann, as he's still in decent knick even now.

Wonder if Fowler has still got it in front of goal. I’d have thought so, he was such a natural finisher.

Do you have to crowbar a reference to Brexit into every post you make? Some people have a different opinion, try to stop pissing your knickers over it.

Wonder if Fowler has still got it in front of goal. Most natural English born finisher since Jimmy Greaves, if Man Utd had him rather than Andy Cole they would have won even more ( Thank God they didn’t )

Good grief, they are in a a dreadful state, getting old is a bastard but why on earth would you let yourself go as badly as that, especially when you have been a world class athlete, some of them are not much older than Crouchy Back row left to right: Redknapp, Lee Sharpe, Steve Howey, Mark Wright, David Seaman, Chris Waddle, Neil Ruddock, Mark Chamberlain, John Barnes. Front row left to right: Paul Merson, Robbie Fowler, Matt Le Tissier, Rob Lee, Ray Parlour

Even Merson is looking svelte! Where are the full backs? Back three I reckon with Sharpe and Parlour wing backs?

Flip Flops Barnesy? You aint' getting round the back in them. Wonder how swift Chamberlain is now. Hope he dunna do his hamstring again.
Odds on Razor getting red carded for (literally) flattening an opposition player?

The match with the German's will end in a penalty shoot out won't it? You just know it.
Editing is the core skill of TV these days so it will make its way inexorably to that I reckon.

Enjoyed last night, but the 2 stand out sumos were John Banes & Obviously Razor, just huge, Razor weighed in at an alarming 150+ Kilo.
Our very own Chambo looked knackered every time he walked.
Couple of things that staggered me...How few games Robbie Fowler and Matt Le Tis played for England.
Fair plays to Merson opening up about his demons, really big of him.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very enjoyable viewing that was, looking forward to the next instalment.
Nice to see Chambo there, lets hope he'll be bringing his 'dancing clogs' at some stage 😄
