Getting rave reviews at Fleetwood and even has his own song.Barton says he hasn't missed a beat since he got here and has been exceptional. Maybe isn't the useless lump some on here were claiming.

It's about creating a better balanced squad, he won't expect to start many games so will be working really hard and will be grateful of every game he plays.
Our present batch of CBs probably all expect to be selected which then means we start getting the atmosphere that is being reported.
Literally, the sooner we thin this squad out and have more younger players who aren't quite so good right now, we'll actually be better off for it.

I haven’t seen him play, so Perhaps those who say he’s no good and never will be may well be right. However out of the 14 who appeared on the pitch today, I would say 8 of them are not even lower div 1 standard- and of the remaining 6, 2 will probably leave in the close season ( Butland & Allen).

“That’s his level”
What, the one below where we’re currently struggling our arses off? For a side just 14 places below us taking the league pyramid into account? Aged 20?
Fucking ridiculous thing to say.

Good luck to Souttar in his career but honestly do you think he will ever be a Champioship player? The lad is huge which is an asset but sadly he turns like a barge! He is playing at his level with Fleetwood but I want to pace and athleticism in all departments of a future Stoke team!

We are improving slowly but we are still improving. Sadly too slowly for our dimwit supporters. Only a short time ago our defence was leaking like a sieve but now we are remaining in games and draws are better than losses. We obviously declined to get relegated but we are certainly no longer declining! Nathan Jones will be a great manager for this club given time and transfer windows to bring better players into the club. At the present moment he is having to manage players tied into lucrative contracts who are neither good enough or fit enough!

Love that he's got a stitch in his head, proper defender
