Did Jenas just say Danny Rose has had a really good game tonight? What’s he been watching? Better second half maybe. Shocking first half

Did Jenas just say Danny Rose has had a really good game tonight? What’s he been watching? Better second half maybe. Shocking first half Maybe, but he was Spuds' best player, and the only one who came remotely close to scoring. I just can't figure out what tactic Poch was working on. Everything played right into Ajax' game. How can you bring out such a brilliant performance vs Citeh and then do evertthing backwards now?

Just watching this ref. I heard on the radio a week ago that a UEFA official was heard saying they really don't want two English teams in the final. They'll be praying now to get one!

He is not the brightest
I heard his Mrs said
' Danny what would you rather do, make love or play football? '
And Danny replied ' open your legs and I will show you '
So she did
And he nutmegged her

Shall we say "not a universally liked individual" - especially hereabouts after some of his antics against us but ... he could still rip up the C'ship, no question.

Clyne is a free agent too. Did he have a bad injury or just a massive drop off in performances?

I never really took him as any more than a bit of a panto villain. I'd definitely take him in a heartbeat if we're planning on continuing this system. Fox isn't suited to it, and will probably (bizarrely) be used as a centre-half now BMI has gone. McClean doesn't seem to be trusted to play there, and Tymon is really untried and has looked better more central. I don't think we'll go for him, but he'd be a major upgrade for what is a pretty specialist role.

Which would make me question why they aren't there. Injuries with Clyne? Attitude of Rose? I think he's clearly one of these players that actually hates football.

Seems like he does want to play football, made a bit of a fuss about it actually with Mourinho. I think it was more to do with the racism he's received over the years which made him dislike playing, something along those lines anyway, too lazy to look it up.

He just seemed to hate it in general and it's meant to be quite a common thing in a lot of footballers and I totally get it tbh. They are treated awfully by fans, clubs etc even with the money.

Comes across as quite a decent lad in all fairness to him. I agree with Bayern though, fans do kind of forget that these guys are still human beings, regardless of the position they're in and what they earn etc.

I agree with you completely and even though he is highly unlikely to read this forum, there’s absolutely no need to go for him like the OP has. If he’s used some sportsmanship in the past, who cares - he’s doing his job. And certainly doesn’t deserve personal abuse long after whatever it was that offended people so much. He’s a human being playing the game we all love. Get a life (OP).

MIDDLESBROUGH will not be signing Danny Rose ahead of tomorrow’s EFL transfer deadline. While Boro remain hopeful of completing some incoming transfer business ahead of tomorrow’s 5pm deadline, they will not be moving for Rose. They have held talks with Chelsea over Baba Rahman, and the Ghana international remains a target in the left-back position.

Maybe if O'Neill sees Fox as a left sided central defender in a 3, we might be after a left back. Knowing us, any signings we should make, will probably needs months to get up to match fitness 😩
