Maybe you have different pipes going to your home? Switching fuel suppliers is the biggest marketing con ever, by switching people think they are getting a good deal when they are in fact getting a worse deal, the underlying trend on fuel prices keeps going up, and the suppliers keep getting away with it. Only a strong government can tackle this extortion and we ain't got one.

Maybe you have different pipes going to your home? Switching fuel suppliers is the biggest marketing con ever, by switching people think they are getting a good deal when they are in fact getting a worse deal, the underlying trend on fuel prices keeps going up, and the suppliers keep getting away with it. 2. Only a strong government can tackle this extortion and we ain't got one. 1. that's just the transmition, companies buy their supplies from the various generators, wind, solar, coal, nuclear etc. only when all the green supplies have been maximised do they then have to purchase the more dirty supplies. 2. I'm a member of the MEUC, major energy users council, the chairmans first comments in 2010, thank god that government has gone, now lets hope we actually get somebody with an energy policy. Blairs lot (Ed Milliband was one energy minister) were the worst going and almost put us in darkness for 2 or 3 winters for their lack of policy, he said all the right things, signed up to shutting down the coal fired stations but did fook all to replace them with. We now have had billions spent on upgardes and infrastructure that hadn't been updated in 13 years under Blairs lot, this winter for the first time in years we werent crossing our fingers as we could actually move power around better from where it is being produced, and the upgardes are still going on for a few years yet, so don't spout crap, again.

Been dual fuel with British Gas for years and they often give us decent rewards. For two years we had free gas and electricity on Sundays from 7am until 7pm and out of the blue rewarded us with £50 Amazon voucher on 3 occasions. But this year they looked at our average bills for the last year which was £45 each for both gas and electricity. The reward this current year is to use up to twice as much gas and electricity as last year for a fixed £45 each a month. When the Mrs queried the offer British Gas said they had selected only 90k loyal customers for this deal plus they will give us a months notice to switch back to current tariff if we exceed the limit of use.......what can possibly go wrong??
