You buy a ticket to a football match knowing you’re either going to win, lose or draw. It’s what makes sport exciting. Why should you get your money back when one of those eventualities occurs?

The first 44 minutes were the best we have played for a while.
We are seeing the beginnings of something good.

It was a fairly good performance. No it wasn't ....it was abject. We never created anything for all our fancy stuff in the first half. The only save their goalie had to make was the penalty. As soon as there is the first sign of any pressure we completely lose all shape and direction. We were very, very predictable and spineless. Hull just sat back and took their opportunities when we gave them....job done. The supporters have had to put with this shit for too long now with no sign of any real changes. I’d say Vokes making his debut, Batth coming in for his debut and as Captain, Bojan starting, and Pieters, Crouch, Affelay, Martina and Campbell all being shipped out, signifies that things are changing.
