Allen at the base of the diamond? Etebo I would have thought. Delano just said on Radio Stoke it's Joe

Batth as captain just shows what spineless wankers the rest of them are.
Not enamoured with his signing but if he bollocks these twats on the pitch then fair enough.

That's probably the first real Jones team, and it's certainly not short of statement. Bauer, who's played in all matches, gets dropped, again, and Batth, playing his first match, is already captain! And then there's the other named B, if I could only remember his name!

Allen at the base of the diamond? Allen at the base, confirmed by Delap McClean up front alongside Vokes

I reckon Batth’s leadership skills as Captain were what Jones saw as a major reason for bringing him in!

Indi is no left back and how’s Edwards in over Bauer 🤷♂️ Better defender Agreed, I like Bauer’s attacking style but his positional sense has always been a bit suspect. In two minds who I prefer of the 2 at the moment but in Nathan we trust!

Allen has played well as the holding midfielder in the past, especially for Wales. I'm surprised we haven't tried him there more often

Maybe Bojan up front. I still think he’s our best finisher. Will be behind Vokes & McClean.

Thought Bauer was OK v Leeds but poor last week Edwards will get crosses in ,back post, got to fancy Vokes to get on end of them today.

Jonesy been on some serious drugs.
But I quite like it.
McClean up front over Afobe, Berahino and Diouf though? *eyes emoji*

Allen played as a "holding midfielder" for his entire career before Klopp turned him into a box to box running machine so he should be easily capable of doing it.

I'll give this manager one thing. He has balls the size of planets.
I'd say globular clusters at least

He is perfectly disciplined Egan he plays there for Wales. I'd have Clucas there myself with Allen 'running about like a complete dick' (utter bollocks that is by the way) further up.

It’s something different as last week we were pretty awful. He’s making the team/style his own and it may or may not work but we clearly need to try something different. If only he could Bojan close to his old self, then wow. Let’s not forget you don’t get called the young Messi for nothing. Fingers crossed!!!

BOJAN !!!!!! FINALLY GOOOO AARRN SON 👍 I sincerely hope that Bojan comes back in and proves the people calling for him to be included correct. What a player he was before his injury! I have no doubt that he may have more vision than people we have tried but my eyes and my brain tell me that he may show the occasional touch of brilliance but will be found out by his inability to cope with the physicality of this league.

That said Berahino is as bad as anything we’ve seen in a Stoke shirt over the past couple of decades so would prefer McLean over him any day (as Shit as McLean is)

Be interesting to see how they line up as Etebo allen , clucas has proved to be a terrible midefiwle combination Bewildered Diouf not there as a hat trick scorer
Personally very sceptical of that team
Wonder why no Bauer
Also if we watched them 75 times between them and paid £28m for them 6 months ago you have to ask who recruited Ince , woods , afoebe .
Woods appears to be in the bomb squad with Pieters Diouf

Not quite sure how McClean fits into a team with no wingers. Only thing I can think is his one dimensional approach of running into people will keep the centre backs busy and free up space for Vokes.
