I definitely will. For me it’s a day out with my Dad, a few beers then back to the pub for a few more. If I didn’t go to Stoke I’d end up going to some National trust place or shopping so for me iit’s a no brainer

I will now, but if it had still been Rowett in charge, then it may well have been different!!!

I'd renew even if Bertie Bassett was in charge. Not through some misguided sense of loyalty to a club that doesn't appreciate it's fans (that have had a horrendous three years). More that my old man doesn't have too many more seasons in him and it's about the only thing we do together.
+2 for us.

I renewed even in the third tier and even after we lost 7-0 at home to Brum, so +1 more

I'll be renewing. Been supporting since 1977 when the Queen was 51, Jim Callaghan was in No.10 and our family car was an Austin Maxi.
Things are only going to get better.

Beats staying in with the hubby and kids, no matter how shit stoke are it's an easier afternoon sitting through a match than tag team bickering

I've just written on the other season ticket thread, I reckon in the main it's going to be the season ticket holders who were regulars before our Premier League days became a reality who'll renew. Most of those moaning or debating about not signing up again will be the ones who only see want to see premier league football and that's why their interest has wained..
& for those who say it's due to the football being dismal, please tell me you had a season ticket during the division 1 days & you may be justified in having had enough now but I just can't see that being the case. If you were a fan & ST holder in the Brian Little/Gudjon years you won't be doubting a ST purchase right now.. surely not?! Yes I get that folk have genuine and valid reasons for carefully considering renewing again such as job commitments and family finances etc that do change over time but if someone has the funds to purchase one and simply isnt going to coz things aren't going well on the pitch then they really should question what their 'support' of Stoke Is all about..

Been going regularly since 1963 and had a season ticket for many years. For me the problems started when we won at Anfield (three years ago) but lost if you know what I mean. Sorry but I doubt I will be renewing next season nor will i miss the standard of football served up over these three years: same goes for both my sons i think but their decision.
Sometimes I wonder how the 74/75 side would do nowadays...perchance to dream!

I will renew again, same as i have for years and years. I live outside the Stoke on Trent area and i am starting to question my sanity, i have not enjoyed these past 3 seasons at all. I go to watch Sheffield Wednesday occasionally with mates, they are no better or worse than us. But the match day experience is 10 times better. Wednesday fans moan and groan just the same as any other footy fans and expect nowt from their club. I think that we expect a lot from the players at Stoke and we have been shit on by them. Lied to, promised 100% effort from certain players and nothing has been delivered. I really could not give a flying fuck about this season and my heart bleeds for Nathan Jones and the shit he has been left from two previous managers Hughes and Rowett and those two fucking pricks pulling the strings in their bullet proof ivory tower. If things do not improve by this time next season i will be asking myself if footy is worth it. It saddens and makes me angry to say it but it really is becoming a painfull experience following Stoke City. I dont expect trophies and title winners, just a bit of honesty, pride and hard work from the people i pay to see play football each week.

No we not renewing and to be honest £300 is not a bargain the price should be reduced, its championship football for gods sake, people who say well its been the same price for years should think how much we were ripped off for paying so much 10years ago, all this shit could have been avoided if we went and got a decent striker when we were in trouble in the premiership, but oh no we tried to stay up on the cheap

So freezing the ticket prices for years at a bloody good price doesn't show they care?!?! At a time when the club's revenue was absolutely rocketing? It was the bare minimum I expected from them. Stoke City had a chance to break the mould, to plough lots of the new TV money into reducing ticket prices and making the supporter experience better. Instead, they didn't increase ticket prices by 1 or 2% per year. Whoop-dee-do. What an ungrateful bastard

I think many of those who were there during the worst times will now be considering whether to renew. There's a weariness to it all nowadays. Been there, done that, seen it all. That applies to football in general, not just Stoke. Football's changed. Some of the changes are for the better, but many aren't. The sport we grew up with is very different to the megabucks business we're left with now, and for some, I reckon our current struggles could be the excuse they need in order to cut the ties. Sad, but I think it's true.

Yes I will because I’m a Stoke City supporter, it’s as simple as that. It would also be good if there was a section of the Oatcake only available to ST holders thus discarding some of the absurd views on here.

I will cos even now I anticipate an exciting match every time I'm on my way to the ground especially since Jones came in. It's only sitting waiting on the car park and the long drive home listening to moaning fans on Radio Stoke and watching impolite drivers determined to not let anyone into the queue in front of them that I wonder why I bothered. Watching Palace and Sheffield Wednesday fans yesterday I wondered what had happened to our atmosphere which was the main reason I bought a season ticket to start off with. It used to be exiting even before the match kicked off.

I’ll renew our 3 and will even try and get another one so I can threaten my daughter with it as she’s doing my nut with her Kevin and Perry teenage bullshit at the moment and I need something to keep her in check...... the threat of subjecting her to 90 mins of our current soul destroying cack should do this trick nicely!

I agree with a lot of posters on here who are rapidly falling out of love with our great club. With all the turmoil on and off the pitch I can see sales of ticket being really bad next season. Unfortunately I always get the impression that the club are not really that bothered and with the silence from the top during this season you can see why many are thinking this. I think that if they came out and said right we have got things wrong over the last few years and in the summer are having a massive rethink people may consider renewing. However, it’s a question of if people believe that they will.
I for one am on currently on the fence. I go to the game with my dad and love spending time with the old man. I like the banter and the passion of the people we sit with and would definitely miss this on a game day. However, as my wife is due to give birth to our first born in the next few weeks and increasing work commitments, you have to really think about whether or not to spend another season watching the current Stoke City Shit Show.
My message to the board would be to do something quickly to re-engage the fans and make us feel like we part of this club. It’s us as fans that make the club great and this is what unfortunately they have forgotten in the midst of all the billions of pounds that are now in football.

Block 22, ive been on this journey ive had a session ticket for 39 years and i'am sure if we do not go up this season (and we all know thats not going to happen) then you will not see them in the top flight in the next 10 years, supporters need to look around and see how many bigger clubs have been trying for years

We needed to go down to rebuild. Still early days yet. Be a part of the journey!! If we'd stayed up, we'd have either kept Shaqiri or got double the amount for him (he left so cheaply due to a relegation clause). We'd have either kept Choupo or been better placed to demand a fee for him. In both cases, the finances of being in the Premier League would have allowed us to buy a better standard of replacement than we ended up with. We'd also probably have kept Lambert as a reward for keeping us up. This may or may not have been a good thing, but he would at least have been aware that our defence was not fit for purpose, which apparently his replacement was persuaded was not the case. Premier League finances would again have allowed us to compete for decent replacements. We'd have kept N'diaye. I'm not really sure if that's good or bad, but I thought I'd chuck that in I don't completely disagree with you because many of the factors that contributed to our demise would still have been in place. I'm just putting an alternative forward, mostly because I'm bored. 😊

Bout 14,000 I reckon, if we continue as we are now. The club need come up with a good initiative or an extreme decrease in price(unlikely) to get anywhere near 20k The Coates Family could give every current season ticket holder a free one for 19/20. It's pocket change to them and would go some way towards showing us they do genuinely care about the supporters and the absolute clusterfuck we've had to put up with over the last 2 years. Are you saying they don't care about supporters?

Sick of seeing these "The only people who won't renew are plastic Prem fans" posts.
Probably the same people who are backing Alex Bruce in the other thread saying things like "There's more to life than football."
I've been following us loyally since the early 90's and I'm on the fence about renewing because of money and family issues, get off your fucking high horses.
