Superb. The impressive thing about it is how firm the hand he got on it was.

Absolutely world class save. Classic Jack, excellent shot stopper and has saved us many times in recent years with his saves but does he command his area as well as should?? Suppose if he did he wouldn't be in the championship with us

Suppose if he did he wouldn't be in the championship with us No and for me he doesn't come for balls as much as he should but he's kept us in games this season with his shot stopping so for that we should be grateful. I also imagine he can't have much confidence in our defence so that can't be pleasant.

Absolutely world class save. Top drawer. Hopefully his inability to command his area is due to a lack of confidence from the events of the last 18 months. Fingers crossed we'll get the Jack pre injury back.

Check out stokecity’s Tweet: Wow the reactions from that range As important as a goal, make no mistake. There's surely got to be a statistic developed for saves like this? It's a crime really that this simply goes down as a shot on target and "a save" as a daisy cutter from 40 yards would. Maybe xG to a certain extent but again, it's more slanted towards the player scoring rather than the keeper making a save.

Strength, sinew and elastic muscles, it's a stunning save

On YouTube there’s a young Leeds fans Vlog, you ought to hear the Leeds fans stunned reaction and then their appreciation for what they just witnessed from Butland.

I’ve always thought that there should be “save of the month” as well as “goal of the month”

Jack was very happy with himself! Same here, I thought it was in...and them ones do 99% of the time. It was a superb save...and to then go up and score our second a couple of mins later made it infinitely more important as well as spectacular.

That's complete filth. Well done Jack.
And did you see his reaction at the end he was gutted at letting that late goal in. Soon perked up following a kiss from NJ though.
Who says Jack doesn't care.

I doubt that there will be many better saves in any league this season. It was that good.

Petr Czech was superb at it, can't think of an equivalent. They are all shot stoppers and/or sweeper keepers.

I watched it in real-time on the Stoke stream and was blown away, but of course they don;t show any replays. Watching it from that angle and it's even more impressive. World class goalkeeping.

Seeing it from this angle really makes you appreciate how great the save was. Really hope we manage to keep him for a long time.

How was the commentary? Slightly better than usual, since there was plenty to be positive about - but still pretty shabby all things considered. The whole Stoke Live Plus service is just so amateurish.

That save is quite frankly ridiculous. Possibly better than Prudhoes v derby all them years back
