"It's about filling players with belief in themselves and god willing people will buy into quickly or we have to make decisions." Probably best to just make decisions. The invisible man in the sky won't help. You're not much for him are you?

This guy will do it for us. Like he ( and most fans with any sense ) said, it will take time. One slow but very positive step at a time.
I’m with Nathan 👍

If this thing is going to work it’s increasingly obvious he is going to need his own players in. This is going to take a good deal of time. Dramatic improvements are very unlikely in the short /medium term.

I particularly like the bit about trimming the squad. His presser are far more watchable and inspiring than the drivel most recently served up.

This bloke is a top man who is going to give everything at driving our club towards success. You can't help but feel he understands the area, what we as a club are about and (unlike previous managers) he seems genuinely proud to manage Stoke City FC. Give Nathan time, support him through the journey, and i'm confident he will take this club where it belongs. WBWY

He gives hope and that’s all we can have at the moment. He says enough for me to follow him and the players should do likewise. We’ve been crying out to have someone who will get us playing differently and to sort out the loafers....this is him, let’s back him. I think the sooner we accept this season is over and look to get things in place for next the better people will feel.

I could listen to the bloke all day He is a very impressive speaker and you can't help but be drawn into his ideas (unless you're WhyDelilah). It's pretty obvious by listening to this latest conference that he hasn't been impressed by what he's seen so far, and that he is going to start ripping this squad apart straight away, so let's hope he gets given the time to change things around because he definitely needs it.

The comment about shifting 8 players on almost immediately at Luton was interesting.
Can't help but think he is looking to do exactly the same here !

love the bit where he says he needs to trim the squad, he knows that he has to have everybody pulling in the same direction, and he needs to get his ideas across, you cant do that with everyone if they are never playing, and just hanging around the place.

To be fair once he fucks Wimmer off he’s trimmed 80% of the squad straight away.

Speaks brilliantly and seems to have an infectious passion and drive, if he can manage a football team like he can manage the press room we’ve a winner here at last.

Finally we have a man who we are hoping brings a fresh approach to stoke. Cut away the bullshit excuses, the lip service, the constant telling us we should be doing better, we have quality in the squad.
Instead we have a guy who is totally in charge of where we are going as a club, I would think this is what won the owners over after using so many expensive plasters to cover the wounds.
I just hope that the masses realise this is going to be a long road to recovery and we must show him patience. No fucking off when the going gets hard, stick with the team because although we all feel absolutely drained with stoke we can start to move forward and become better than anything weve been before. Hes creating a new DNA instead of the hoof thuggery, physical football weve been accused of in the past. Were used to losing now but I'm looking forward to start and see the change in particular somenof the old decrepit personnel who are clearly here for the money not the club.

Well after watching all of his pre match interview, i for one am inspired by him and the philosophy he talks about. If he gets the group of players he wants to keep playing as good as he talks we will be back up in the prem in no time.
I hope the trimming of players starts soon to soon to remove the crap. We need some “Stoke City” players brought back to our club. Let’s hope he finds some fast.

The comment about shifting 8 players on almost immediately at Luton was interesting. Can't help but think he is looking to do exactly the same here ! Well he said he did it in his first week. If that's literal, then the same thing hasn't happened here. Not that I blame him of course. I struggle to see that we will ever get rid of our current squad of wasters. I daresay Luton's ditched players just didn't fit the new 'system' and that other clubs were happy to take them on, one way or the other. Who'd take most of our bunch of loafers and shirkers?

Is it just me or is this quite a thinly veiled dig at the current players. If so, well fucking done. I think it's a thinly veiled dig at how the club has been run full stop. Exactly what I thought. Let's just hope this guy can walk the walk because he clearly excels in talking the talk.
