By "everyone" you include practically every notable person in football history, you do realise that? He has been praised by everyone from Johan Cruyff to Arrigo Sacchi From Pep to Ferguson Pele to Lionel Messi. Zidane to Maradona Basically every major person in football from the last 50 years. He certainly knows his onions mate no doubt about it, you're playing some fantastic stuff 👍 he wouldn't have managed it with our squad though. Still fancy NJ will do a good job here when he's cleared out the dead weights He probably would if they listened to him, thats all he needs, players to listen and follow what he tells them, your squad indivially is better then ours, if those players listened then he would probably have walked the league with the individual talent you have. I know nothing really abut Nathan Jones, until i read what someone else said on here, he sounds very Bielsa like in terms of philosophy and style, i like it. The sooner we get these dinosaur managers with there dinosaur styles out of the English game the better.

It's not bielsa that would be the problem at stoke, our lot are in need of electric shock treatment or something very simlar. He'd be flogging a dead horse here

That's great. What's he won? Leaving aside the fact that he has actually won trophies, can we just clarify that your position is that any manager that has not won a notable trophy can be classed as an "outright failure"?

What trophies? Listen, he's obviously a good coach but he doesn't have the trophy haul to warrant the adulation in my opinion. Perhaps spying in the bushes will bring him the success he craves.

People in the game adulate more than just the glitter of silverware Pugs.

Dont really want a big debate about Bielsa, been doing that on the Derby forum for days😂.
On trophies i think its important to realise MB doesnt just take any job, the circumstances have to be right, the club structure has to be right.
Had he taken any job its highly likely he would have many more trophies.
He turned down Real Madrid back in 2004, he turned down Inter Milan back in the early 2010s.
He was a strong contender for the Barcelona job back in 2012 after Pep left and if he was more flexible he probably would have got that to.
The man is admirable, if he wanted trophies he could have gone to clubs that would have had the best chance to win them, but he would have had to sacrifice his own principles to do so.

I dunno.

He's turned down 3 of the biggest clubs in the world yet went to basket case clubs like Lazio (2 days wasn't it?) and Marseille? OK. Now he's got the dream job in the Championship with a club whose structure is so right they've sacked more managers than Watford. Then you prattle on about principals... is that from the bushes?

He left Marseille after falling out over transfers, he quit Lazio because they flat out lied to him over targets he had requested. If your so inclined you can Google it, he was asked if he would take the Madrid job after leaving Argentina in 2004. It was widely reported in Italy that the President of Inter Milan tried to get Bielsa for years. He didnt "turn down" Barcelona, he was never offered the job, but he was the early favourite and the choice of Lionel Messi, he apparently refused to leave Bilbao as he was in the middle of a "project". He has the job he wanted or he wouldn't be here. He also turned down the Argentina job in 2016 again. m.calciomercato.com/en/news/bielsa-rejects-argentina-job-980327You dont have to believe me, makes no difference to me, but everything ive said is fact and can be checked😊

I think spygate is a load of bollocks....if there's nothing in the rules who cares. Simply down to our moronic media stirring up shit between one of those "cheating Latins" and their darling Frank Lampard. Lampard is bleating like a lamb's fanny. Bielsa has brought more to football innovation in one season in the UK than all of those true Brit dinosaurs like Steve Bruce, who keep being recycled between clubs, have in their entire careers.
