Just got home and I’m so bloody happy. That was such an exciting game. It was like watching the Premiership Stoke of old when we battled for everything against the giants of the league.
well done Nathan Jones, and the team. I really hope this is a sign of things to come. There’s room for improvement but that was such a great game. Every man put in a full shift. Where has NJ been for the last 3 years. He seems like he could be a real find.

Excellent team performance today and finally more than a handful of players playing well at the same time.
Biggest difference today from what we’ve seen recently was the intensity of the tackling, we actually won some.but even more important than that, we carried a threat over the top which meant Leeds were unable/unwilling to push up on usas high as the wanted.
Campbell and afobe, and McLean when he came on, all gave us a realistic out ball when we were under pressure,
Marvellous. Feels like so long since i saw something to remind me why it’s worth bothering.

Got to be delighted with that , positive approach and a win , loads of work to do but not many of us could have seen that coming after the past few games .

Probably our least effective player on the day (he had the fewest number of touches of any outfield player on the pitch who started the game). Played his part though and have to remember that he's not played regularly for 5 months. Will hopefully improve For a man that has been out for so long though he was excellent. It looks like he could play a big part in the new set up. It begs the question why he never made the squad before for so long.

Luton won 4 nil as well. Nice to see the wheels haven't fallen off for them.

He said he was off home tonight cos he's only had a few hours sleep all week. He looks knackered doesn't he - really pleased he got the win today.

NJ will get more pts.off me for this one game, than Rowett managed in all his games with us.
Finally I think we have a Manager who will unite the fans.

Charlie Adam deserves a special mention. He passed the ball well, controlled his temper, dropped into holes left by the wingbacks when they went forward, didn't waste energy dashing about and gave a disciplined performance certainly my MOTM.

I like everything he said. I like his realistic attitude, I like his praise of the players' efforts. I like that I'm not indifferent to results like I've been lately. Whether there's promotion or not at the end of this season, it's good to know some gloom has lifted. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Adam always has a yellow. That's what he does. I thought he got booked for hand ball??

That’s the first have enjoyed listening to a post match interview in three years. His enthusiasm is genuine and infectious. If jones can’t get them playing to their full potential nobody can.

Will hopefully improve As one of the more voracious Anti-Bauer posters I was surprised by how not shit he looked today. Seemed to know his role - defended ok. Showed a lot of spirit and guts but frequently got caught up the pitch. I'll be happy with getting caught out if it means we can attack more though*

Surprised he brought McClean on instead of Ince - worked though👍 As soon as Campbell ducked out of the header the bench were telling him get into em, mcClean was told warm up straight away. You know that mcClean will not pull out of a challenge, Ince would.

Bielsa may have massive data analysis on SCFC and LTFC matches, players, toilet paper, etc. His team may have the greatest preparation under the Sun. However, he doesn't have any reliable data on SCFC managed by Jones. He has no data on how our players can deliver a formation under Jones. Either using GR or NJs tactics. In short, for Bielsa and the Leeds players, they may as well throw all the feathers up in the air and hope they land as a chicken. They may then (more likely)experience a chicken to play against or, as Murphy's Law can deliver, they may get a 1974 experience. Anyone seen any Banana skins hanging around. The crowd will be critical today. Hard fought, lucky draw for me. I knew it! I knew it! Except for the abysmal result prediction! 🌤🌈☀️

I thought he got booked for hand ball?? Correct. Don’t know why he did it. Must have a brief mental blank, and put both hands up for a clear hand ball. Man of the match for me. A pleasure to watch his proper experienced, old pro, display.
