Mmmm that’s a hard one. Now over to you. Were you there tonight or were you watching Kelly’s hero’s getting lessons off your mate in creating negative vibes. Also Is it true the Mr Grumpy mug was created with you in mind. Just asking like.🤔 No I wasnt there. I rarely attend any games that are played on a Tuesday night or a Sunday. Is that ok with you?

Also Is it true the Mr Grumpy mug was created with you in mind. Just asking like.🤔 No I wasnt there. My little one trains on a Tuesday. Had it been tomorrow I'd have been there. I don't attend Sunday games anymore either because my lad plays on a Sunday and I live 93 miles away from the ground so cant do both. Is that ok with you? No stop giving me negative vibes on why you can’t attend. Call yourself a supporter😳

You appear to be missing the point if rowett had selected that side he would have been absolutely slated why should jones get any slack he has so far talked absolute garbage sound bites to appease fans with no substance . I just think he’s a cheap option to appease fans and buy the idiots running club more time. A strong appointment was needed who would not only sort the shower of shit on the field but also the morons running the club.he was brought in as a cheap option yes man maybe if rumours are to be believed on cartos recommendation.,,I hope I’m wrong but it has disaster written all over it

I have faith in neither of them. Still, I've been in quarter full away ends in the lower divisions before so its a potential cataclysm that can be overcome.

Some people are ridiculous. How on earth can people be calling for the manager's head already? Should have gone for Big Sam? He's just ruled himself out of the running for the Huddersfield job in the Premier League. Delusions of grandeur.

There isn't much Jones can do,when you have a squad full of bottlers.
Things will improve once these bottlers have been got rid of and he gets his own players in.

I think in the short term things will continue to get worse before they get better, but I hope NJ will succeed in the long run. He's clearly got a mammoth task on his hands.

Watching that has emphasised just what a massive job that the manager has. We had an awful, unbalanced squad that got relegated that's somehow been made even worse by Rowett's awful purchases in the summer. Jones's system of a midfield diamond isn't going to suit these players (the defence is too bad) but to be honest, NOTHING suits them because they're so wank. If the manager made the system work at Luton then we have to put all of our faith in his tactical philosophy and accept that we're going to watch some hidings while he sorts this mess out. The rest of the season and the summer should be spent shipping out as much of this God-awful squad as possible to give him room to manoeuvre in the transfer market. Long-term, I'd keep about six of them and the rest can go. Would genuinely like to see some of the young uns given a bit of a go until we can get some proper players in. Great post. There's so little to lose this is the time for youth and creative signings. A wholesale January fire sale clearout is pretty much vital imo.

I get that desire I really do but of the youngsters which are good enough? Tymon certainly isn't, nor is Soutter. Anyone else apart from Campbell? If we happened to go on a kris Kamara style slump (1 win in 13) we'll be in real danger of dropping another division. Creative signings I agree with. Clear out I agree with. Youth? I'm not so sure. The youngsters don't look particularly impressive to me.

I know a few that have picked him out though. How old is he? How big is he? How old was Ryan when he made his debut at Cardiff? 19?

We have to stick with Jones now, no matter what. We can't keep changing the manager every few months.
The problems we have now have been a long time in the making.
Let's get behind Nathan and be prepared for a long journey and accept that promotion hopes for this season are over.
I believe Jones is the right man, even tho I could hardly bear to look in the second half on Tuesday night!
This is a building project, a change in footballing philosophy, a new era for Stoke City.
It's still exciting, even if it's going to sting at first.
