The football was really crap, I don't like to see anyone get the sack, but he really is an incompetent football manager.

I managed to think of plenty of better things to do on the 5th January.
Tick to the tock...

3 for the subs although it was hardly the tactical masterstroke he made out.

0 for 73 minutes, 10 for the subs which were absolutely the right players on / off, 0 for the rest of the game. So an average of 0. Which is what he should be paid every week for engineering the thundering shower of sh1t we have to endure watching.

1*. What can you say about that? The players downed tools, and the substitutions freaked them out for a bit. Desperate measures.
He needs to go doesn’t he?
I’ve been to hundreds and hundreds of games, but have never witnessed such a weird atmosphere as today. Open hostility and I didn’t really feel arsed if we lost.
This is no way to continue.
Plus point for Tyrese being pro-active. Was stood by his old man, who was proud as punch that hs lad did the business

-5
1 for the game - well he did turn up and he didn't fall asleep in the dugout - so well done Gary.
The -5 was down to the post match interview. Does he actually believe any of that? We seemed to play well, was in control, etc.

This is odd. On the face of it Rowett looks as though he justifies a decent mark. He picked a decent starting eleven given injury and illness in the squad. And he sent out that eleven in an attacking 442 ish formation with two up front. Then, when things were not working, he made 3 substitutions which paid off.
However, it was arguably the worst display of the season. You could argue that was the fault of the players not the manager. But that would be to disregard the reasons why the players were so poor. At present they are a demoralised squad who seem to be devoid of any confidence in themselves or the manager. And that has to be down to the manager's serial failings from the day he arrived at the club.
So, from me he gets a big fat 0. Not because of anything he did or didn't do on the day but because his own mistakes (and refusal to accept or correct them) over the past 7 months have meant that he now is (or should be) a dead man walking.
