Can't believe people are moaning about Moyes.. Who the fuck are we going to get? Pep, Jurgen, Poch? Need some reality injecting up your arseholes with some of the comments on here. David or Samuel would sort this club out.. even quicker if the two clowns at the top of the Org Chart were given the boot.. Fresh sheet of paper please Coates family.. Your Rowett experiment hasn't worked.. shit happens.. Lets move on and grab a bit of experience pronto before someone else does.. N No moaning from me I dont believe he is the best we could get us simply an observation but if he his the choice he’s huge improvement none the less and from the right pool

I'd be happy enough with Moyes. Then again, I was happy with Rowett so what the fuck do I know!? Made me laugh out loud as I’m in the same boat along with many posters I would imagine.

West Ham – Brought in to keep them up and did so. Job done. Are they significantly better now? <iframe width="19.58000000000004" height="4.159999999999997" style="position: absolute; width: 19.58000000000004px; height: 4.159999999999997px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 15px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_56697981" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="19.58000000000004" height="4.159999999999997" style="position: absolute; width: 19.58px; height: 4.16px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 923px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_48599998" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="19.58000000000004" height="4.159999999999997" style="position: absolute; width: 19.58px; height: 4.16px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 147px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_33438381" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="19.58000000000004" height="4.159999999999997" style="position: absolute; width: 19.58px; height: 4.16px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 923px; top: 147px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_84672474" scrolling="no"></iframe> Yes, we're now 3 points off 7th, despite losing our first 4 and having the longest injury list in the league but he did a good job all the same

I despair. Why exactly?

Why Tony Scholes has any input whatsoever in footballing decisions is at the heart of the matter. The only input at all should be to agree a contract and salary. He has no footballing credentials in any capacity. I wouldn't let him sort out the contract details either. The Coates family are probably the ones (if it's true) trying to get him. Can you imagine, right Tony, David is on board, we have had a good chat about where we want to be, what we can offer, Can you sort the contract out. Right David, 2 million a year, ok Sorry Tony, I want 2.5 million. Ooh, but we can't offer that. It's 2 million I'm afraid OK Tony thanks but no thanks, best of luck Sorry Peter, David won't be joining us, he wanted an extra 500k. Not to worry, can we go get Ian Holloway.

Moyes or Allardyce would be a great fit
While I like Jokanovic I think with our defence his style would be suicidal.
Left field and probably not going to happen but I like Bayer Leverkusen’s old manager Heiko Herlich. Played good football and finished with a very respectable 1.8 pts per game.

I was led to believe that we approached Moyes before we employed Rowett and he turned us down. If that was indeed the case then what has changed (other than us now being worse than was perceived back in the summer) to make Moyes change his mind?

Moyes would be the perfect "steady the ship" appointment. Solid, hardworking and disciplined, both the man and his teams. He will not mouth off like Rowett, and is far more humble and reserved. We all know he has a decent CV and is close to the top of the pile of those managers we could realistically attract right now. I reckon we could all unite behind him, give him chance to turn things round and get us set for a proper promotion challenge next season. This internal strife must stop and if his appointment helps to do that, I am "in." Certainly not the impression I get Jezza. He's been known to take pops at his clubs and fans on occasion, hasn't he?

Probably holding on for a Premier League job, no one has blinked aside from Fulham who evidently had Ranieri lined up before Jokanovic's sacking. It's now January and still no club is blinking. Can see Stoke as his project to rebuild on. If he can get us promoted and build a steady base if we get back up then it's a job well done I say.

Can’t believe that nobody has yet mentioned Russell slade as a potential Rowett replacement. He would unite the fan base and get the stadium rocking with his brand of high tempo football.
