If I was eating out in Stoke, I’d be going Indian all the way. You have V good curry houses in Stoke. We have loads of fine dining, but no decent Indians. Just choose something off the menu you don’t usually have or ask them to give you what they have. It’s not the 90’s mate Have they gone downhill...

Do like a good pub meal. Notable mentions for The Brownlow Smallwood this place has been fantastic for years.
Had good meals this year at the Boars Head near Nantwich. Old Swann Madeley Heath. Plume of feathers Barlaston.
Hickorys Smokehouse is epic.
We have a crackin curry house in Alsager. Indian Heaven.
Anyone been JR's Baldwins Gate? This place was proper random. Felt like i was actually in Texas ha ha

Try the reform in Thorncliffe. Formerly the red lion 👍 Well I did thanks last year with the gang after a tough off road run around Buxton absolutely superb. I was going to go back with the kids for a birthday lunch but tiers and lockdown put paid to the idea. I managed to get over there with them this afternoon for some outdoor fine dining....excellent again, well set up, great service

Fairlawns hotel and spa in Little Aston/Walsall. 2 AA rosettes, I try to stay and each there at least twice a year.

From years ago there was The Bosted Onion at Hallmerend. And La Caserole in stone. Stone Marina near Aston is pretty awesome.

Paul used to wander over offering his new wines and one evening he casually asked "Would you like the clap sir?" and there it was in a bottle www.wine-searcher.com/regions-la+clape

You do get the biggest Naan breads going in Stoke though.

Dishoom in Manchester has ruined me for Indian food. Not cheap but the food and service is top notch, drinks are great too.
Got to get back there to try their breakfast menu.

Romazzino in Alsager. Just has to be done. Pure craftsmanship. The one in Nantwich a fave of mine, Someone mentioned Hickorys also. Get in there when can. Thai Corner in Crewe far better than the Nantwich offerings
