Hopefully a man on the edge who just needs a nudge off it and then we can start looking forward. If he does go then surely whoever scouted him and championed him has to go too.....after all, lessons have been learned....right Peter?

Unfortunately he's dug his own grave. He's finished If Bolton had scored today, he would have been sacked tonight. I'm not sure about that Paul. There always seems to be a 6-month time-lag at least between the thought processes of the masses and those of the board. It's easy for us to sound off whereas they have all sorts of financial considerations I suppose.

I don’t actually disagree with his comments. He’s actually right. However the players he has brought in and the system we are playing is abysmal.

Coates family will be looking for a replacement but it will probably be a while before Rowett is sacked and it is sorted out.

re Bojan: "He was a great player for the club but that was 2-3 yrs ago. I was surprised they weren't chanting for Rory because he was too" For that response and total contempt for the fans alone he should be sacked and tonight. When we have a bench with seven substitutes there has to be a place for a player who can change a game and unlock a defence. But no he finds a place for both Etebo and Fletcher. Yes we should have a midfielder on the bench and I agree with Etebo but why then Fletcher? The bench should have balance and should gives us different options. So there should be a place for a Bojan should be a must until we find an alternative. Total negligence from the Manager and it demonstrates to me that he is a Manager who could or can manage an underdog but not a Manager who can manage one of the bigger teams (wealthier teams) in this division. When you look at the KPI’s of such a Manager he is another LMH and needs to be replaced and tonight if we have any ambition of promotion this season. Just my opinion but the facts are starring us directly in the face.

re Bojan: "He was a great player for the club but that was 2-3 yrs ago. I was surprised they weren't chanting for Rory because he was too" Wasn't 2-3 yrs ago when he equalized at Rotherham away earlier on this season.............fucking clown shoes. Or when he bossed the team who just reduced us to no decent opportunities over 90 minutes.

Bojan is a bit of a red herring in all this. None of it can be narrowed down to individual players - it’s all stemming from a philosophy and system that is failing throughout the team. Rowett is now completely backed into a corner and there is only going to be one outcome when that happens. A few wins won’t drag him back from the edge. He either goes now or at the end of the season. A bad result on Tuesday and it will probably be now. It’s painful to watch and I for one don’t like seeing individuals under this sort of pressure and being on the receiving end of abuse but he hasn’t half been the architect of his own downfall.

Bojan is 28 for heavens sake, it's hardly a like for like comparison with Rory. If he doesn't fancy Bojan he should just say so but it looks like he panicked with that answer. I thought it was incredibly telling when, on that preseason Radio Stoke interview he did, he was asked to say the first thing that came into his head when certain names were mentioned and for Bojan he just said ‘fan’s favourite’. The reply stuck out like a sore thumb when compared to his responses to other names; it was quite derogatory. I’m not saying Bojan’s the answer but, as others point out, it is about what his omission represents that is the issue whilst in the same breath he’s talking about our lack of quality in the final third. Bojan didn’t set the world alight when he had his little spell in September but he certainly wasn’t a problem. There have been players that have performed worse on a regular basis for us and don’t get dropped in the unceremonious way he has. Anyway, this mess is increasingly Rowett’s to own. If he wants to create division between him and the fans then there’s usually only one way that ends for a manager. Yes, I'm not convinced that in Bojan we are sitting in the answer to all our problems either, but the wonder-waif has certainly become a stick to beat the manager with, and the mere mention of his name clearly strikes a raw nerve with Rowett. When you are sitting on a record of 8 wins in 25 as Rowett is then it's impossible for him to make a case for his brave new world.

Coates family will be looking for a replacement but it will probably be a while before Rowett is sacked and it is sorted out. There is no turning back now as he will never get the support onside........he’s almost asking to be sacked and then will say it’s what he inherited. The plain fact is he should be doing loads better with that squad......all will depend on if anyone if quality is prepared to come if not we are stuck with him for now.....

The guy is an arsewipe.i fuckin flipped when he was saying about Bolton, how he expects them to come out and throw everything at us as they are playing at home. What a fuckin shame you don't go with that ethos when we're playing at home Gary.
Only way fan power will make the board sit up is when the season ticket sales slump to less than 15k. Early birds out in March.... not long now

Surely that’s Rowett finished?
The most unlikeable manager in my 36 years of supporting Stoke - in my opinion.
There’s is not a cat in hells chance this is going to work so the board may as well bite the bullet and get rid now. Luckily we have an extremely proactive board with their fingers on the pulse so we have nothing to worry about!
