I would happily give my right bollock to have him back, and my left one for Arnie.
And my middle one for Bojan back in contention.

I still have to pinch myself that Shaq played for us. He and Arnautovic and N'Zonzi certainly represented some kind of footballing 'high water mark' for Stoke City. Never to be repeated in my lifetime of that I am certain.

Amazing, the extra bit of motivation playing for a top club gives you. Those muscle strains he used to pick up certainly seemed to have vanished as well. This is starting to get up there with the "Bojan was terrible after he was injured in the cup" myth. There's one season in which he missed quite a few games overall his second season with us, but the perfect time to have sat out of games was during the final year in which he played the most games he had in any of the three seasons. In addition to that, Liverpool haven't needed him to be playing 90 minutes week in, week out so far. So the intensity demands are going to be reduced.

Arnie was much the same, 3-4 months under a different regime, he looked like he'd dropped half a stone.

When you sit down and look back at the last 10 years or so, you have to admit that that is as good as it probably gets for us, bar actually winning a major trophy, it doesn't get much better for Stoke City FC.

It's just a question of how far and how quickly downhill we will go".

With the passage of time the 2 year 'blips' at the end of the Pulis and Hughes eras will be washed over and it will transcend in to one long and glorious decade where the sun never stopped shining on the mighty Potters!
