Serious question.
Did he win a header last night?

If the ridiculous full backs/wing backs Jones selected hadn’t been consistently caught upfield and cost us the game we’d probably be talking about how well he combined with Campbell who I know looks up in every sense of the word to him. If anyone on here thinks Afobe or Berahino will ever come even slightly close to the career Crouch has had they’re insane. If only it was 2005 eh? He might have been useful then. Certainly more useful than Afobe or Berahino in 2019

You're basically the UKIP of the board, a one-issue poster, and you treat every other striker we've had with the same kind of hissing jealousy that the wicked queen reserved for Snow White. What's that all about? Is it a Macclesfield thing?

Certainly more useful than Afobe or Berahino in 2019 Both of them have outscored Crouch this season and he cant win headers let alone score goals. I love the bloke, but like Shawcross he is done. If we keep him and the like out of sentiment we will be rubbing shoulders with the vale.

Serious question. Did he win a header last night? One. Every other he climbs all over his man and falls on the floor holding his arms out.

If only it was 2005 eh? He might have been useful then. Certainly more useful than Afobe or Berahino in 2019 Afobe has 9 goals and 2 assists. Crouch's best season is 10 league goals. You sure about that? Hes absolutely toss and has been for years. If he were a horse, they'd shoot him. He may have been a good player way back before he ever arrived at stoke but I don't really give a shit about that. I'm only bothered by what he does in a stoke shirt.

Crouch is useless and the other two are miles better than him, grow up

He's obviously getting past it, but in his defence if he were playing for Man City with players who can 'play' he'd still be able to do it. Not knowing when the ball will finally come & can't rely on a one-two etc or the ball at the right moment, it leads to a split second delay that causes a foul. He's often on his way down by the time the blinking balls played in!
But yeah, his times up, it won't get any better now for him with us.

The best header he made last night was a defensive one from a Shrews corner in the first half. Had a great chance to equalise with a header late on but failed to get any direction on it and put it over.
Peter was a class player, but sadly he can't jump anymore and is painfully slow. Yes, he's still got a good touch and an eye for goal, but his good footballing brain is being let down by his ageing body. Sadly he's becoming something of an embarassment rather than an asset, and the same applies to Ryan Shawcross, another formerly excellent player living on past glories.

There is just no way that Crouch's pace could fit in with the fast forwards of the Citeh side. They might be sending crosses into the box but he'd still be half way on the pitch. He used to quite nifty with his feet, something not one of five Stoke managers have ever been able to take advantage of, but he wouldn't been able to combine with players with superior skill at this point.

Crouch is in serious jeopardy of tarnishing everything good he’s done here.
He shouldn’t play for us anymore, not in the starting 11 or as a sub he just isn’t up to it anymore.
It’s bordering on the farcical now

To be fare even in his prime he'd have looked shit today. How hard it is to hit the tallest bloke on the pitch with a cross?
Corners and crossing and even free kicks around the box are awful. I said to a bloke next to me today that if McClean ever looks up for a cross he'll need glasses,he can't keep it on the pitch it goes out for a throw or goal kick. Crouch as big as he is will never get on the end of balls like that.
