I actually think his cameos at LM have been pretty good

Agree that Bauer was woeful in the start of the season, but so were most of the others too. Last season I thought we had found a gem as I was really impressed by Bauer. I still think we have a decent player there so maybe worth another try as neither Martina nor Edwards have been very impressive so far. I thought he was excellent going forward , but couldn't defend and his positioning is atrocious. That's why I believe he was moved to the wing. I agree he struggles a bit with his positioning, but at least he isn't that easy to get past. As you say he is also much better than the other two going forward so why he doesn't get another chance is baffling to me. I think we also can agree that both Martina and Edwards struggle with their positioning to make it even more baffling. There must be something else here that we don't know and which is the reason why he is out in the cold?

Whatever we play it’s a huge game.
Get a win, by whatever means, and move on.

I like Etebo, I think he will grow and become pivotal for us, but for the Millwall game I can’t see Rowett changing things, if he were to the only change maybe Afobe for Berahino I think if we fuck him around he'll want to move on and I wouldn't blame him. From world cup to second division bench.

Aside from his goals, I don't think Allen is in form enough to make up for his deficiencies. He's poor on the ball and poor off it mostly.

Rowett will name an unchanged team, with Etebo on the bench ahead of Fletch, I hope.
I would like to see him in the middle three and Clucas wide left given a go again, but McClean deserves to retain his starting place after a decent showing yesterday.

They don’t play in the same position and have different responsibilities so it would be unfair to compare Etebo with McClean. McClean played well yesterday but I agree with Benji it’s Clucas wide left and Etebo in the middle for me. Nice problem to have though and great we have some competition. So you agree that Etebo's absence cost us a couple of points today or at Reading? Agree with cobham it’s clucas or McLean on the left , if McLean is preferred so be it , it’s not the point , etebo is a better central midfielder than clucas , gives more power and athleticism in the vital centre of the pitch
