Like most pressers it's the same answers to the same questions. But it's often worth a watch to spot the snide little dig, usually at the fans but he got in a cheap shot at the Chief Exec 😀 which was telling. He is awful to watch as he doesn't visually focus on anyone or anything for more than a few seconds.
..very shifty demeanour.
Have also sussed out why he blames everyone but himself....
He has incredibly narrow slopey shoulders 😀

Can’t help feeling some people have very unrealistic expectations of press conferences.
About the only manager I can remember seeing doing remotely interesting or entertaining ones was Mick McCarthy.

I thought to be fair he answered the questions as well as he could and was as open & honest as he could be. I really don't know what some expect, a stand up routine?!

To be fair to Ange there she’s put a number of questions to him that others in the local media wouldn’t dare ask so fair play to her. Perhaps she might be considered by a local radio station to do some post match interviews that ask the questions everybody else is thinking...

Comments such as some teams “appreciating the beauty of the grass” and words to the effect that the referee ought to be careful of some teams physical approach etc. Whilst I do agree that they are largely clichéd and full of diversionary smoke, they do carry some weight and do give an indication as to the managers true feelings towards issues/players, as we’ve seen in this one by Gruesomes responses to some questions. |

why the negativity? he spoke honestly what do the fans want? would you rather he came out and said we will thrash villa 6-0. he was also honest enough to admit we were "leggy" v ipswich but the main thing is we won.give the man some slack we were shipping goals at the start of the season he has stopped that and now results are improving. I read on here that we only get good results v teams at the bottom that does my head in utter bullshit.we beat the leaders[Norwich]away,drew with mboro,and beat derby yes we lost to leeds on the opening day but its no surprise a few faces in that team were soon fucked off.
I think we are in a decent position to finish the season strongly and be in the top 6 who knows even top two lets have some positivity.
