They ended ninth. Lost a semi and he jumped ship. Some drop-off. Great points btw lol 😬 We don't know what the fuck we play, it's some sub standard bastardized version of championship level shit is what it is. It's worse than hoofball. It's Rowettball to me. The man is unlikable, the play is shit and his previous players with a new manager playing football after a few additions are fourth, now. Not last season, now. We're 10th on three times the amount of investment. All signs point to aim high, finish meh. Out of interest is it all about the 90 minutes for you? Do you enjoy spending time with mates and going to watch games all over the country? The travelling, the beer, the meeting up with friends? Having a laugh? We're tenth in the league. Sometimes it's not pretty. Sometimes like at Reading last week it's fucking infuriating. But it brings people together and it's fun. What do you want from it? Weird interest. But, Yes it is. When I fly thousands of miles on thousands of dollars to watch that shite? Yeah. The two matches I've been of my four this season live we got spanked with dire play. I also have lots of time with friends, infact I'm coming back, why? I don't Know why, it's going to be hard to sell going up Stoke' I'd rather go to a pub and watch PL football with my friends if he's still here in February.

Could be a little unfair but given the lacklustre performance yesterday and the fact that Rowett said several players had complained they were tired, it somehow doesn’t seem the best idea that half the team have been on a bender in Dublin last night/today before the Villa game next week...

Anyone hear Steve bull today congratulated on scoring 4 at Newcastle and responded he was on the booze the night before in Newcastle’s , perhaps we should leave them there till next Saturday morning

I don’t need to like them, they’re not my mates. I’d prefer if we’d a bunch of arrogant tosses that were winning all round them playing decent football than a bunch of likable losers. Arnie, Shaq, N'Zonzi, nah fuck that!

A quick check tells me that I wasn't 100% accurate with my statement but my point still stands. Rowett actually had Derby in third place in december last season. And we don't play hoofball. They ended ninth. Lost a semi and he jumped ship. Some drop-off. It’s the managers tactics not the players. Derby played same way last season, but most of the same players are playing good football under Lampard. He’s never going change so the club are going have this total negativity while he remains manager.😢 That good football must hide itself well, they were awful at our place, they must be doing something right given where they are in the league but to produce nothing against 10 men must be pretty embarrassing.

No they weren't lol 😬 You talk some stupid shit. Besides he lost a semifinal versus a better side who real played football in Fulham, not hoofball. A quick check tells me that I wasn't 100% accurate with my statement but my point still stands. Rowett actually had Derby in third place in december last season. And we don't play hoofball. Incorrect again. At this point, 9th December 2017, Derby were 4th (where they are now) but 1 point better off.

One of are very few good games. But can’t knock how well derby have done under lampard with most of the same players. They had a bad day against us but overall there fans are a lot happier then we are at the moment. I take it you like Rowetts way of playing? Most people I talk to are unhappy with negative tactics. We will see when the early bird season tickets renewals are over. Think Coates in for a massive shock.

Edwards, local lad who works hard and could be a great player for this club for years if he stays Shawcross, given everything for this club over the years including our most successful period in 50 years. Clucas, amazing story of hard work coming through the Glenn Hoddle academy, seems to be enjoying his football here and has 4 assists in 4 games. Pieters, claps the fans every single game despite receiving abuse for the majority of the last 18 months and then facing down the media after. Allen, admitted his form was off at the start of the season and has been playing much better recently. Bojan, never once moaned about his treatment, got his head down and got on with it. Always appreciates and acknowledges the fans. Crouch, past his sell by date but like Shawcross has given us a tremendous amount over the years and deserves great recognition.
That's 7 without even really giving it any thought. Most players haven't been here half a season yet. The negativity surrounding the club at the moment is absolutely toxic.

Derby started 4 outfield players that were there under Rowett on Saturday. 3 if you count the fact Craig Bryson was out on loan last year. Their top 3 scorers are all new, 2 of which are on loan. He's phased out the majority of the side that played under Rowett.

Davis out injured now but still players from last year have played this season. Lampards football better football to watch. How strange a no experience manager doing ok.😂😂

Absolutely 100% Add Mame Biram Diouf to that list for 1! This guy although has limited ability at the top level gives absolutely everything for the club and himself whilst out there on the pitch. Not to mention he never goes public with any issues including being played in all sorts of positions during his time here. True professional.

I'm not sure I understand the purpose of this thread? As a little kid I idolized Denis Smith for his bravery and determination and tried to emulate him.....then found out that Thatcher was his heroine. Alan Hudson could almost move you to tears with his sublime artistry........but he was a typical sob story piss head beneath it all. Yet that was in the days when the players were much more in touch with the fans and at the end of their careers still had to run pubs or sell insurance! Best to just judge these people on what they do for us on the pitch because off it most Uk players are I'll educated spoilt brats but then if most of us were "made for life" at age 19 how would that have affected us?

I couldn't give two fucks if the players are 'likeable' as long as they do a decent job, which for the most part they aint.
I would take wee Joe's hand in a civil partnership though, no problem with that.

I'm open to most ways of playing tbh, I'm not so narrow minded to think there's one way to win a game of football, Derby are doing alright, no better than they were last season at this point, it'll be interesting to see where they finish, given Lampard took over a top 6 team its a little unfair to compare given the state we were in.
